Thank You for the information. In future Seminars can you address any information in regards to the vaccination (as they call it) and any effect it has on one with this condition. Having lived with this for 15 years with successful treatment of managing the Ferritin level, I have not wanted a vaccine for Covid for fear of it effecting the outcome of a so far successful treatment plan. On other support sites I have recently seen comments that the Phlebotomy became much less effective after a vaccine. There is very little info out there about specifically that. Thank You
Hi Rod - As far as we are aware, there have been no research studies focussing specifically on the COVID vaccines and people with haemochromatosis. However, our medical advisors have said that there is no evidence of any increased risk of the vaccine for people simply because they have haemochromatosis. We can see no reason to believe the vaccine would have any effect on the effectiveness of venesections removing excess iron from the body. I suggest you should be very careful when reading online theories about this unless you find information published by reputable medical or scientific bodies that are evidence based and peer reviewed. There are a lot of people making up theories when they are not qualified to do so or have an ulterior motive such as selling commercial products or simply causing harm by spreading misinformation. Ultimately though, you should consult your own doctors about the vaccine.
