Collection of all the promotional material I could find for the second installment of the enthralling epic that is the Shrek saga. I kid you not when I say this is one of my favorite animated movies, and one of the sequels I'd consider even better than the first. Everything about it just hits on all cylinders: comedy, drama, the soundtrack, everything. Some of DreamWorks at its best.
I am so thankful that this terrific trilogy of Shrek, Shrek 2 and Shrek Forever After exists, with no extra movie in between to muck it up. 🤭

Shrek 5 confirmed! Whooooooo!!!!
Ladies and gentlemen, the trailers and TV spots of Dreamworks’s best movie ever made. I NEED A HERO!
There will never be a better use of that song in a movie ever again.
@@Jurassic1993Parkvery true! But the song fearless hero from “puss in boots: The Last Wish is a great song too and even being an original one. Wouldn’t you agree?
@@patj.scahill979 Also true. But I was speaking more of some movies' use of Holding Out For A Hero not really matching Shrek 2. The Mario movie comes to mind for instance.
@@Jurassic1993Parktrue dat
It’s funny how this song was written for footloose yet this movie uses it in a much better way.
I saw the re-release of this classic DreamWorks Animation sequel for its 20th anniversary!
20 years later and this is still one of the best sequels ever made!
my thoughts exactly
one of the best film sequels ever made
Just like The Empire Strikes Back and Terminator 2.
@@cillian2971 yep
Trust me, I wished I could've seen it 2 years earlier on Netflix and on Hulu last year! But then this would've been my favorite Shrek movie ever. Along with the first Shrek movie 😍😍😍
@@burleyant274 would've
As well as Toy Story 2/Toy Story 3 and How to Train Your Dragon sequels.

Finally reaching the TV spots with the DreamWorks Animation logo.
2004 is the year of best sequels. Shrek 2, spiderman 2 and scooby doo 2 are all sequels that better than the first. You don't see that everyday
The best Shrek movie
How could I not forget? This is too funny for me to resist!! 😂😂
Remember that COPS parody scene?? Makes you wanna blow milk out your nose!! Or that Puss attack scene? No wonder this is the #1 comedy movie of all time!!
It’s my least favorite

The best movie in the shrek franchise.

It’s my least favorite honestly
@@superjackster0165what why
@@MrGabeanator I had a lot of issues with the writing of the film and thought it wasn’t anywhere as hilarious as the first film
@@superjackster0165 well ur crazy
This sequels is top notch at this point. Also, the previous trailer uses the song Rockin the Suburbs that was later heard in Over the Hedge 2 years later as well. By the way, Shrek 2 is not that bad.
Shrek 2 20th Anniversary
Time is moving way too fast for my liking. 👴
It's so wierd to see the early Shrek 2 Logo not have the Ears on the S
it still doesn't on most promotional material

Summer 2004 was a great year for sequels. Shrek 2, Spider-Man 2, and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. And I saw this in theaters back in 2004 and saw the re-release this year.
In Shrek 2, the sequel to the DreamWorks animated classic film that took millions of viewers by storm introducing new characters and stories picks up where the original left off.
Ever notice Rockin the Suburbs was used in the promos way before another Dreamworks film had that song
And the Dreamworks pictures logo was used in some of the promos

This is the best sequel ever made and I still love it can't wait for Shrek 2 Retold
One of the best 2004 films I've ever seen as well as Shaun of the Dead and King Arthur.
Also, I remember seeing that advert on TV: 9:22-9:31

Shrek 2 is a masterpiece
Shrek 3 was a dud
Shrek 4 was the finale

I thought 2004 bad year for Ariel.
um I was expecting how to train your dragon but you go for shrek 2 instead
Other people have their requests that I have to tend to, not really hard to understand. That upload is coming out later this month, if that eases your disappointment a bit.
1:58 "AAAUGH!!!"
HEY NOW YOU'RE AN ALL STAR, GET YOUR GAME ON GO PLAY......
Anyone know the song 🎵 from shrek 2 tv spot in 2004
Have you even done the trailers and TV spots of the first Shrek movie? I think the first Shrek movie was awesome, it was basically like a parody of Disney and it won an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
Yes. Long ago. It wasn't until about a week or so before Christmas that someone let me know that it had been blocked, so once I recover from Covid and my hiatus is over, I'll do a revamped video on it same as the Jurassic Park one.
@@Jurassic1993Park Sure thing. One more thing: Should Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire have In The End from Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park after Where the Dream Takes You during the end credits?
@@samwhitacre Umm, what?
@@Jurassic1993Park Why couldn't Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire have In The End from Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park during the end credits after Where the Dream Takes You?
@@samwhitacre Because they chose not to...?
I don't think having two nu-metal songs to close out an animated movie that takes place in the 1910s with a steampunk aesthetic would have been the best fit.
Shrek 5 LETS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
0:30 AH!!!
1:54 Dun-Dun! Dun-Dun-Dun-Dun!
8:01 First mention of DreamWorks Animation
14:44 that’s the same song they used in the end credits of over the hedge.
Can't wait for some kids to say "uPlOaD sHrEk tHe tHiRd nOw!!!!!1!!1!!1"
Funny thing about that is, there's already a Shrek The Third Trailers & TV Spots video on my channel. Only movie I have left to do is Shrek Forever After.
damn that's a big plot twist

this is awesome
They don't use the Dreamworks SKG logo in the final cut of the film.
I Didn’t Like That They Cut That.
Here as today is 10 year anniversary
i love it
Well, it’s not as amazing as the original but it’s okay, I guess. I mean, it’s no Toy Story 2 or Rugrats in Paris, but it’s okay
