The commercials at 7:42-8:45 were the ones I always remember playing on tv and had me thinking it was the coolest looking movie ever. To this day I don’t think I’ve seen a trailer that hit me quite the same way.
There were a LOT of these, so yeah, I don't doubt some previews might have slipped by. RUclips's search system nowadays is crap, so that probably didn't help much either.
The movie that began the debate: Is it a Christmas movie or Halloween movie? Some will say it's both, but why not watch it whenever you want? I'll watch it on Valentine's Day because I can! Hahahaha!! 😂😂
Like with the Exorcist promos, I usually just keep it to the promotional material that was mostly released before the movie's premiere, VHS commercials not withstanding here. On a sidenote, it's interesting to compare the difference between the trailer editing in comparison to subsequent re-releases.
Disney was originally going to release the film under their name back in 1993. But Michael Eisner (the CEO at the time) considered the film to be “too dark and scary for children”. So they put it under their Touchstone banner. In 2006, Disney re-released the film in 3-D under their name. That included plastering the Disney logo at the beginning and changing the credits to say “Walt Disney Pictures Presents”. So now Disney owns the rights to the movie and it’s considered to be an official Disney movie
Well, except for the end credits that have the Touchstone Copyright on non-3D and current prints of the film, but for the 3D end credits, it has the disney Copyright.
*"The creative genius behind Batman, Beetlejuice, and Edward Scissorhands."* It's weird hearing a Disney ad mentioning movies from other studios. Especially ones that aren't family films such as those ones.
Organist with cigar scary, Alan is werewolf form, Flynn Crump is scary frightened face, Bael is scary spider demon form attack, Hannah is penanggalan monster scary opened your eyes form attack.
I have that on VHS tape of The Nightmare Before Christmas it has Touchstone on it. My two favorite character are Jack Skellington and Sally the rag doll!!!😇😇😇🕸️🕸️🕷️👻💀🎃🎃🎃🎄🎅🏻🤶🏻🎄🎄🎄
My favorite Disney movie for Christmas and Halloween, it was so good but scary, it was my favorite time of the year, and I like the one with the 3D release on it!
Happy Halloween. 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃
One of my favorite movies of all time and it never gets old. The music and songs are iconic. It's a perfect movie for both Halloween and Christmas.
A perfect holiday movie to celebrate both Halloween and Christmas!🎃👻🎅🎄

7:42-14:30-17:06 are my favorite tv spots with this 90's music.
Pump up the jam

Not my favorite of Disney’s catalogue, but when I watched Full House on TGIF back in 1993, that was my first time seeing an theatrical TV spot
During the Full House episode “Yours Mine and Ours” re run in 1993 I saw a TV spot for this movie 😟
30 years of this great film I really enjoyed seeing it at the theater I was 8 at the time, does anyone know the name of the song at 7:40
Pump up the jam
Looks like you got them all except the one that was in the 1993 VHS release of Disney's Pinocchio (1940). That one was my favorite.

To quote an underrated Dreamworks animated flick: "Both? Both. Both is good."
@William Harding 😉
Christmas. The plot revolves around Christmas. If Santa Clause was bringing Halloween to the North Pole that would be a Halloween special to me
I would like to see a sequel where he goes to the other worlds, does this sound like a good idea or a bad idea?
It’s both
Why didn’t you add the trailers for the 3-D re-releases?

I miss the 90s
Me too, and I also miss the 2000s.
So what's playing separate from nightmare before christmas.
2:41 What music is that?
Cold Sweat by Vincent Frates
Disney after their first trailer pushed it to Touchstone Pictures
That’s because they thought was too scary for kids.

Disney’s gone so far down their live action remakes list that I can practically guarantee this one will be next eventually
My favorite Disney movie for Christmas and Halloween, it was so good but scary, it was my favorite time of the year, and I like the one with the 3D release on it!
Why did Santa Jack Skellington hire Zero to light his way up into the real planet Earth world from 14:00 to 14:06?
11:32 this trailer I remember, I can’t find it anywhere else
