In the bathroom it sounds really good. And we have pretty big bathroom. For the quieter command it’s :Alexa level 5 for loudest level 1 for lowest. It’s pretty nice and you can mute it so it doesn’t listen. It’s 24.00 on amazon☺️.
I'm waiting for mine to arrive. Got it with the nightlight attachment. Plan to use it in my tiny master bath to control a waterproof Bluetooth speaker in the stall shower. It will replace the nightlight that's currently in there, so I'm not using another outlet, and it will let me change songs and such in the shower. Currently, I use an Echo device in the bedroom to control that speaker, but it can't hear me if the bathroom door is closed or in the stall shower at all. That is an aux jack on the side! It's $24.99 and the attachments (motion sensor or night light) are $14.99 each.
The prints are attached I think, if you put it in your backpack I think you risk bending the prongs and putting it into the outlet and shocking yourself or having the prongs stay in the outlet and cause major issues.
good job on your video mate, you explained the Amazon Echo Flex Plug-In Smart Speaker very well and I'm going to buy mine for the bedroom as it will be handy for the basic things like an alarm, turn lights on and just to ask it the time when you wake up in the dark haha. Thanks again mate and keep up the good work.
That's a 3.5 MM jack for powered speakers, as I am using the Echo Input with a external Jam HangUp speaker in the restroom. www.jamaudio.com/hang-up-bluetooth-speaker I have the speaker stuck to a Spanish tile of complimentary color on a wall mount right next to the input which is on a plug-in mount parallel to the wall. It's fairly sano, as the wires are hidden under the tile (mostly), with the USB plugged into an old iPhone plug for the speaker...
You can also use it as an Alexa device in your Automobile by connecting it to a Hotspot on the phone. Get directions, listen to music while driving, etc...
For me the bathroom is the place that this would make more sense to put at so I can listen to the forecast and news of the day while I prepare for work, shower, make up, etc.... But a lot of people are saying that they cannot hear this alexa speaker when they are showering due to its low quality.
@@Bungle2010 odd for you as an European. In brazil it's completely normal power sockets in bathrooms and living in the US now every house I've been there was power sockets in the bathroom.
Can you use Echo Flex Plug-in Smart to place a phone call? How would you configure an Alexa system to be able to establish a phone call from any room in your house? Think about a person alone in a house in need of assistance.
Nice review. Anyone else who has this, how loud does it get? I need an Echo near my bedside to use as a baby monitor. Need it to be loud enough to get my attention if the baby cries and I'm sleeping.
I have 2, and I must say the sound quality is not the best compared to the others but they are good enough for a baby monitor and for music and for hearing alexa in another room. I am only 12 years old so you dont have to take my word for it but I'm just telling you anyway because I have 2 of them and I know 👍👍👍👍👍
How the hell can anyone make a youtube channel to review devices and then while showing the product, say something like: "I'm not sure what this is. It looks like a headphone jack." Man why the hell do you think people come to your channel in the first place??? To get to know the product. Absolute rubbish channel.

Sounds like a 1950's AM radio + Smart device= Smart AM Radio. LOL

Your video made my Dot turn down the volume & then stop. I was playing Christmas Music. 😄
Guys on Bestbuy it's 9.99 or two for 19.99 just letting yall know since I am about to buy one right now.

They are my favourite Alexa product, I use it at the top of my stairs.
Thanks, your vids are the most informative and instructional about Amazon devices on RUclips.
Thanks!
The button with the dot in the middle is the action button, not the power button.

Theoretically, I could open up a plug by plugging in the charger to the Flex, as well as the 3.5 mm jack.
Will it turn on a smart plug?
Yes
Alexa gets her ears plugged!

Showering is always a problem, but you could put one of the waterproof bluetooth speakers in your shower and pair it to an Echo.

If you had a landline phone and an echo connect (34.99 USD) you can make calls from any echo device, using your landline number.
@@ummactuallyjp Thanks JP.
“Really high fidelity” 160kbps using amazon music 😂😂 this isn’t about quality it’s about loudness
Can it connect to a bluetooth speaker?
Can this work as a room to room intercom? If we get more than one obviously :)
What do I need to use this? Will it link to my iPhone to play music from Spotify?
It's wipeable making it ideal for in your kitchen to control things
bought one for my bathroom, perfect :-) (and cheap :-) )
Same for me!
now amazon hears you taking a dump. perfect
Too bad it’s not a little bit bigger so that I can add a Full sized plug there
Why are your outlets all sideways
Is it loud enough as the primary Ring doorbell chime?
Thanks for the review but aw you missed the best part of that song lol 👍😌

No, because it wouldn't find a wifi network to join unless your phone is always a hotspot.
