Prosit tal-programm Jon... il-politiku tallum qieghed fil-gvern ghal-interessi taghhom personali fil-business li huwa s-suggett talllum u mhux biex jiehu decizjonijiet ghal-gid komuni.
Lots of beating around the bush. No explanation as to how the densification of Malta (which he is in favour of) could take place without allowing "pencil developments" in at least some central localities. This was always going to be a necessary evil. At some point all of Malta consisted of 1-2 story buildings. A decision had to be made to densify by raising the building height, and it would not have made sense to raise it by just 1 or 2 floors at a time, only to have to raise it again 10 years later. There's also tons of talk about aesthetics but almost nothing about the economic, functional, and social aspects of development.
What a waste of 4 hrs! You both ended up agreeing that nothing will change. It all boils down to that no one has the political will to enforce to change anything. Mela Jon please work on that!!! For a sixty year old independent country, it is time to take the gloves off or remove the diapers. As it is, in this discussion you both came to the conclusion that no one has the balls to put their foot down. I'll tell you this much Jon. The popullus foot was felt when JM quickly resigned and that is what the people needs to do. Protest till the current government scraps the constitution and have it rewitten. For a country this small you dont needs any political party. Google it!
Spot on Jon, inhbiet DC15, niddubita jekk ghadditx mill-Parlament!
