Amazing video as always! I just bought a 118i M sport F40 2023 plate because of your reviews a few years ago!
We need a f type review if you ever get one ❤

Hi Tom. Is it possible that you got 28MPG because you were in dynamic mode and s- gear? Maybe D - would have gotten you closer to 33-35 MPG?

Maybe you could review a facelift 3.0D. Much faster and much nicer interior/infotainment.

Such a shame about the infotainment! I've personally been looking at the 3.0 V6, they seem like cracking value for money, as a car it's perfectly acceptable but that screen just kills it for me.
The facelift with the pivi pro looks like a huge improvement, but unfortunately they value for money aspect is not so enticing due to the higher purchase price and the inevitable depreciation as its a JLR product and still pretty new!

I have a 2019 F pace 25t with the incontrol touch pro (i guess) and I can confidently say they are not slow. After I start the car in 3 seconds I can navigate the home menu, connect to carplay, turn on the heated seats etc (maybe I just got one with a better processor). Yes the settings button takes 3 seconds to have effect but how often do you really use it? Navigation is fast between menus. Honestly just go and test drive one and see for yourself if it's sufficient. Oh btw not many videos show this but the drivers screen is much sharper than the main infotainment one, it looks great in person.

@stefanfrunza-lw4wu Thanks for this Stefan, seems like a good shout! People do seem to forget that cars are cars, not computers. Maybe they updated the system at some point? I may go for a test drive and see it for myself.
How is the car overall? Other complaints I've heard elsewhere is the build quality is poor, with rattles throughout the cabin. Thoughts?

@@Chris-nj1mr Hmm.. I will compare it to what we have in our family. It is better than my older 2016 XF which I owned till 130.000 miles. Buttons held really great, no visible marks on them, leather didn’t tear, no cracking sounds. Somehow feels sportier than the XF.
Compared to my dad’s 2019 C Class then yeah the Merc has soft touch materials everywhere while the Jag has cut some corners on the lower door pockets and lower transmission tunnel covers. Not a deal breaker to me as it rides much better than the Merc. Also while the merc is soft everywhere, each button or trim you touch will make a cracking sound. The jag’s interior feels more robust and is more resistant to scratches.
Compared to my mom’s RR Sport, no debate the Sport is superior in terms of materials, leather absolutely everywhere, even inside the door handles .
Overall I really like the car, I like how it looks, how it drives and how it makes me feel. The transmission is really smooth and the petrol engine is much more refined than the diesel.
