Thank you for being in solidarity with us. A reminder to the world community that this isn't about US interference in the region because this begins with China's ambition and aggressive illegal occupation of the islands. They want to start their own hegemony in the region by controlling the ships pathway in the South China Sea in which includes the Philippine Exclusive Economic Zone. We Filipinos doesn't want that to happen except those so called "patriots" like Duterte and his minions but they're a Chinese sellout. Our alliance with the US is bonded by history, culture and common interests and not by siding with convenience like what China is trying to portray.

ROC's 11dash line claim got support from the West and Soviet when all Southeast Asia were Western colonies in 1945, because Chinese suffered most casualties from Japan, also kept resistance and elimiated more Japanese than ASEAN combined until Japan surrender, so West and Soviet let ROC navy to take over after Japan retreated from South China Sea, it's like a trophy to biggest Asian contributor China, this is world order decided by winners to divide the spoils after war, even USA lent 4 warships to ROC navy in 1946, Chinese landed on Taiping Island, Thitu Island etc, today Taiwan still claims 11-dash line from 1945 to now but keeps silent, then PRC inherited same claim from ROC after 1949, anyways all countries live under the Yalta system, the World War II order.
China signed the UNCLOS but USA has not. Therefore, China only claims the islands in the 9-dash line instead of treating the South China Sea as internal waters. That tribunal is not under the United Nations, so West can only win the media war, but Chinese obtained the South China Sea with blood, then USA can feel regretted today but anyone must use more blood get South China Sea and rewrite new word order, it's not enough to win media war.

Philippine fishermen have invaded China's South China Sea territory. If China had not been peace-loving and used peaceful means to control it, the consequences would have been unimaginable.

Second Thomas Shoal on the map seen in 0:59 is not properly placed. it is not located on the edge of the Philippine EEZ. Rather, it is located in the center. Please correct this since it may mislead the viewers into thinking that Chinese vessels are stationed on the far left of the Philippines' EEZ. The truth is, that these Chinese vessels are actually stationed far nearer to the province of Palawan and not as seen on that map.
Kalayaan Islands (Officially Municipality of Kalayaan Palawan) holds control of this is part of it and literally in the middle of it. In fact Pag-Asa Island (Poblacion and only Barangay of the Municipality) is located far western than the (Ayungin Shoal) 2nd Thomas Shoal

Essentially Phillipines needs Ukraine army, navy and air force of drones which are so small, intelligent and effective that they can fit inside shipping containers. Freedom of the Seas is essential to trillions of world trade and PRC China blockading this trade threatens the necessities of life for the whole world. Something like NATO for Freedom of Seas is required. PRC China hegemony could be disastrous.

I absolutely and totally agree. We aren't logistically able to match and might never be able to do so as these defense sea going vessels are very costly. But we can do with what we have and employ defensive and armed kamikaze drones. It doesn't cost as much and can attain as much damage as conventional arms if not more and in a very swift manner. We should hire those Ukranian drone pilots to train our coast guard.
You're really clueless. The so called freedom of navigation is just an excuse by the US so they can sail very close other country's coastline. It has nothing to do with trade shipping routes. Almost all container ship that pass thru the SCS is going or from China. If they want a blockade they just need to block their ports.

there are 4 or 5 new joint usa philippine bases that have been built in last year. But not on man made island. Islands that were there alrrady And more to come. With air strips that are long enough to handle most of the u.s. assets.
Subic bay is seeing alot more u.s. naval assets as well and as for the joint bases the are well armed with missle assets for ground to air a for taking out naval assets if need be.
