- The Swift SW150 is a good low-cost microscope that will get you started in amateur microscopy. I was not paid for making this video, but was sent the microscope free of charge.

I know this is an old video, but because of you, I purchased one of these off Amazon via Canada. I ordered it yesterday and received it today. I'm so overwhelmed (in a good way). Thank you for all your help.
Exactly the type of review and insight I was looking for. Super helpful. Thanks for your content!
Thank you !!! Sir I was looking for a good quality cheap microscope and this exactly fits my interest. And again thank you for making this video.
I have the step-up stereo version of the Swift -- love it!
I love the review videos, Thank you
Another useful video reviewing a low cost microscope. In this case you get more than your money's worth.
I want you to also show us how to add a darkfield filter to microscope like that a oblique and rheinberg and flourencance light and inverted lightfield and phase contrast and polarized light. Please. Your videos are great
Great review!
Can you provide a link for the USB adapter for viewing on laptop and software link
I just bought one through your affiliate link, thank you for the sound review...
One point, i would like to add is the possibility of changing objektives because of the "normal thread". I´ve exchanged the 40 with a 20x and it works very well. I bought this model because of this possibility. Good to see that you also like it.
Would this show parasites like amoebas? Protozoans? What about bacteria?
Sir.. your urgent advice & guidelines needed .. on how to achieve Oblique Illumination/Contrast in vertical incident Reflected Light ..in the simplest possible manner..
Thanks
My favorite microscope models... I can carry it in my garden, field, etc. I own this type.. The quality to is impressive.. Most of such models share same type of design...
Thank you 🙏
Great,thank you.
Love the low cost microscope reviews thank you very much
Can you attach a DSLR to this? Are the eye piece sizes standard sized? Great video, thanks!
Good job man good job
Between this and the swift 380 what would you recommend. I am an absolute amateur but I really do enjoy microscopes
Thanks for this review. It seems to be worth $100 easy. I am not into biology but I do like seeing things up close, alive or a object.
Thanks. I wish they would make these with inbuilt camera. Tricky to attach cameras.
It is my favorite microscope
Does the USB show video like live view from the microscope and is there any lag? Cause I wanted to use this on my laptop and just record from there.
nice i just purchased it cant wait!
How is it?
About to purchase this on the basis of your review and came across the SW200DL on offer at the same price - the model number suggests it's a higher spec. Any experience of it?
Curious about this as well.
this is out of stock but I found the Amscope M150 which is basically the same!
Hi friend , how can I remove this pointing arrow . Thanks :)
Do you think this microscope is better than swift SW200DL? I am new to this and I am thinking of buying a microscope. Thank you!
Hello, love your videos, could you please do a review of the bresser infinity microscope.
I don't have one.....
@@MicrobehunterMicroscopy ah okay, sorry I asked..…
Hi Microbehunter. For observing pond life and photographing/filming them, would you suggest the Swift 150, the Swift SW200DL or the Swift 380B? I could get either of the first two microscopes now, but I’d have to save up a while for the 380B. Is it worth waiting for, compared with the two cheaper microscopes?
Edit: Additionally, what’s the difference between the Swift 350T and 380T? Both seem very similar.
The 150 an 200DL do not have a condenser. They are also much smaller, what you do not see in the pictures. Microscopes with a condenser such as the 350T and 380T are significantly better. The difference between the 350 and 380 is that the latter has a better focusing system and optics. It is also a bit larger. But the differences are not too large.
Great review. Just curious on the difference between this model and the 200DL. Also. i tried searching the RUclips channel for the video about creating your own polarized light filter for this model but can't seem to find it.

Hello, I have watched your channel a lot and I have wanted to buy a microscope, due to the budget I have been thinking about the sw200 but I have a question, is this microscope compatible with commercial eyepieces? Or does it only fit the ones that come by default? Thank you very much for the content, greetings from Mexico
The eyepieces are standard 23mm, but the objectives are not standard.
where is the mobile holder?
Is it possible to upgrade to a 23mm 10x eye piece for this model microscope as opposed to the 18mm eye piece upgrade?
23mm field of view eyepiece does not exist for this kind of tube. The tube of the microscope is 23mm in diameter already. Maximum would probably be a field number 20 eyepiece.
Hi Sir , can the USB camera be used for the other swift optical microscope as well? ( the cheapest Swift Optical introductory/kids microscope )
Yes becasue it is an eyepiece camera and they can be used instead of an eyepiece and the size of the eyepieces is the same.
@@MicrobehunterMicroscopy I couldnt find any information about the camera. So I assume the camera is 1X so you loose the regular eyepiece 10X/20X when using the camera?
What is the price of USB Camera plugged in eyepiece?
@@Zunree1869op is asking for the price and the name or where to buy it, not what its used for lol
This one is no longer available. Can you suggest an alternative in this price range? 🤔
sir could you please arrange human gametes under microscope..
it would be a great fun to se
Do dat
Can someone recommend a microscope that’s not too expensive but one that will show parasites and bacteria? Cheers
One eye = skip
At least possible connect computer (with accessories..) :X

Pay 60 bucks more and get a sw350b on amazon
On Amazon in the US the SW150 is $85 and the SW350b is $260. That's quite a bit more than $60 different.
I make videos of microscopic beings.
Can we use this to test gems ?
No. For that you would need a stereo microscope.
@@MicrobehunterMicroscopy can you recommend a cheap stereo microscope pls?
Something like this or similar. Depends what magnification you want to have. www.amazon.com/-/de/dp/B005APM5C6/
i have build my own DIY microscope and can use 160, 170 mm and infinity. None microscop on maerket can do this, never needed a tubus lens and for camera neither ocular is nessesary. Companies only want to make money with this sh....stuff
