There are only twists on old ideas. That's how we got where we are. I'm hoping that, as these kids mature, they'll develop a more distinctive sound of their own.

They should be visiting an influential band. If they appeared as guests on the Pearl Jam tour, for example, they would gain mass media popularity overnight. I haven't heard something as melodic and high-quality as Speed of Light in a long, long time. Her voice reminds me so much of Kurt Cobain.

They need some more development in terms of musicianship and starting thinking about adding some more instruments or sounds to their options wouldn't hurt. As a band with the lead vocal being the bassist, they could learn from listening to The Police and Thin Lizzy. No need to take the risk of trying to recruit another player. Just experiment with some more tools to try adding a 4th sound option where it might be cool.

I discovered them when they toured with Bad Religion in 2023, and it seems their popularity has risen since that show.
