I think it’s better to remove the triangles connected to the corner squares on the ring and put them on the main 2x2 unless you plan to make an open core
You can make this in a hole turning it into a bunker base and it’s six walls to TC from blowing in the side. Most would t find TC and it only gets more expensive from the top down.

Upkeep
What’s the advantage to this over honeycomb?
You can be creative and make a good shooting floor, make inner peaks and open loot rooms
is that connected to the base or do we need externaks
Hey you just have to place some triangel foundations and some frames to Connect The layer to The 2x2!
Just honey comb the 2x2 and then it’s connected man
@@Sphyx-bro how you gonna have room to honey comb around that 😂
@@darthyoda1238 theres an easier way to do this with honey comb more early on, same footprint with honey comb
Theres really no reason to build that footprint without honeycomb
OK buddy cry me a River
you can’t make it double shell in a way making in three walls to tc. I can just never find wide gaps for these types of bases

That is the same reason fora 4x4, you can aslo just add honeycomb to the layer
