Max0r has easily rose up on my list of content creators whose content is both entertaining and (somewhat) informative, but also quickly rising to the top as an editing god among fellow content creators. Fun Fact: The voice of the prime minister in the beginning is named Jimothy Ross, who also made similar styled and edited videos on Metal Gear Rising. So if you enjoyed Max0r's, I'd also recommend his.
You know the thing is that maxor intentionally makes Sam the biggest asshole and Armstrong some sort of super patriot in the videos while in the game Sam is the really nice guy who is just fed up with everything and just wants to fight a worthy enemy and die and Armstrong is pretty much as down to earth as possible and yeah he initially BS raiden about his real goal but then recognizes him as an equal gives him the non BS reasoning and offers him a spot as his comrade
MGR, to an extent. it plays itself out, FULLY knowing the plot is really fucking retarded but still working with it like its high art. thats why there is a spirit of idgaf in rising while 40k seems strictly adherent to the lore and the worldbuilding itself. really depends what you want. sometimes you want an exploration to an established canon. nothing wrong with that. sometimes you want dumb shit on mushrooms and the team is on crack and you dont know what the hell you are playing while playing it :D nothing wrong with that, either. a steamreview seems to include the chaos full well :D "In the first level of this game I have: -Fought a Metal Gear -Threw said Metal Gear like a ragdoll -Had my Prime Minister stolen by a fat bald man with a samurai sword -Fought the same Metal Gear again -Jumped from rocket to rocket during a rocket barrage -Ran down a collapsing building towards the Metal Gear then cut it in half -Ran down a train and jumped aboard it while wall running"
