The Praetorian Guards may be Force sensitive who have honed their skills to battle in blast helmets. So they don’t need to see. I also like that helmet the best. Reminds me of the warrior monks or robin who have the hat over their eyes.
Haha, I think Underbite, Overbite, and Roofy may stick! I've skipped on these, but they look really good and you get a fair amount of accessories too, which is always good. Have assumed that the masks must have some sort of HUD inside them, as if not, I dont know how they're seeing anything!?

Hey Robo, I've got an interesting question. Nobody really likes the prequels but would you actually get any kind of 6" Jar Jar should any company make one? (I'm gonna get some heat for this but,) in terms of design, Jar Jar is actually probably one of the better looking characters from the PT
I would buy the hell out of it. I may not care for the character overall but he would look sweet on the shelf with the other prequel characters. There is a third party kit out there right now that I'm tempted by but I can't pull the trigger, thinking some company will give him to us at some point.
Don't sell yourself short. This review actually helped me decide to grab the Model kit (multiples of it) Since you can make either the executioner or the regular Stormtrooper from it. Now to hope the kits also release a guard that you can turn into all 3. That would be sweet.

Robo, the First Order Stormtrooper actually does have a drop-down in the leg, but it's not in the hip, it's actually at the thigh swivel; you pull the armored thigh down, and the leg can go farther and to the side more before it collides with the pelvis armor.
Really? I can twist and pull mine and it comes down a tiny bit but it feels more like I'm pulling the pin out of the hole, like it's not supposed to do that. That's both on my original FO and the Executioner.
The Fwoosh Huh. Mine seems like there's two distinct (if vaguely so) stages/positions for it. It definitely doesn't feel like pulling it off the peg. I would say maybe mine is anomalous, but it's pretty consistent on all three of my TLJ Stormtrooper Officers.
I think that the way they see is though small cameras on the helmet somewhere, and the image is portrayed in the helmet by a screen showing them the image, the grills could allow for air flow so the person can breathe
Those Guards better have a pretty substantial part in the movie because they're making a big song and dance around them, a bit like Phasma in TFA ( and we all know how that went...). Great review , as per usual. Are you getting the other guards as well?
Robo great review as usge! On the BB unit when you put him on the stand and tilt the ball downward, you mention he falls downwards, but if you tilt the ball and raise the head back, would that help?..if u have time to check lemme know ;)
The problem was I pre-ordered all of the figures right at 1 am when they went up for pre-order in Japan and there wasn't a clear explanation that there were separate bundled releases at that time. I only found out a day and a half later there were bundled versions and by then it was too late. Nippon-Yasan still sent me the first BB unit even though I ordered Phasma and the First Order Trooper separate but CDJapan was not so kind with the latest two here.

You're reviews are awesome....,do you know if figusrts are going to release an imperial ground crew figure.i really liked the design of this character in rogue one,and we only get it in 3.75 5 poa scale :/ there's opportunity for unique accessories,with the batons showed on the back,and they'd only need to do minimal original sculpting.....,I forget what other class uses that helmet,possibly without the face guard part (I'm not as clued up on star wars) and I think even the chest armor is uses elsewhere as well.....,and they could even get double use out of the mould and put a jyn real head on it and release it as here 'disguise' mode too.am I asking too much.....,is everybody just jumping on the Rey bandwagon now?I prefer the jyn character,and rogue one in general to be honest.do you have any connections with figuarts or black series,maybe you could ask them if an imperial ground crew figure is on the cards.would pay LOADS to get one!

Black series Executioner trooper figure arms have really limited arm movement at the elbow and no gun. Its an ok trooper but they could've done a better job.
Yeah, her having a pointy staff is kind of a let-down, but they had to give this to someone else so Finn could take it and have the duel that everyone wanted in The Force Awakens instead of TR-8R.
The Fwoosh yeah the executioner is nice but he's just a normal trooper with black pauldrons I think I'll be happy with just the black series one. I really like the new Praetorian guard but the black series one looks good and figuarts are releasing several of these guys so I'll wait for now. Great review as always man.
Personally I think the bandai Model Kit Executioner is 100x better than this Figuarts and the black series version. Worth getting and it comes with a extra helmet to create a regular First Order Tropper. And the kit is much cheaper than the inferior Figuarts version.

It would be amazing that the helmet design of the storm troopers change in the movie after The Last Jedi. I don't like the Donald Duck look. Praetorian guards look so awful 😥👎

You have to keep the head in a mostly up position. Get it anywhere near a tilt, even with it to one side or the other, and it's going over.

Did you order them separate. There were listings for the combo with the freebie BB, I don't think they lasted long anywhere.
