Im hoping we get the gameplay and dark atmospheric storytelling of Shin Megami Tensei IV with the style and 3d graphics of Persona 5. If they do that, we could quite possibly have one of the greatest JRPG's ever made and in turn one of Switch's defining titles.

TheGoldminor Keep in mind it's not the only Altus exclusive Nintendo has. EO has been Nintendo since the first game. Granted, with the map system they have in place, I don't think it'll ever find a home outside the DS family. Wouldn't feel the same without it for a lot of people.

It showed the standard SMT artwork and the standard FE artwork - that's all. Nothing made it clear what type of game it will be besides that it's going to be a crossover/spin-off. To say they lied about it is completely presumptuous and wrong.
Of course I reply to show the flaw of your comment and that it makes no sense. As I said they showed the standard artwork for both series from all the different games. Nothing specific, no art direction/style, no gameplay, no hint on what the game will be - nothing! So it's absolutely unnecessary to complain.
giorgioskb have you played #fe? it's a smt game through and through. the combat the level design the setting. no it's not a traditional smt game by any means but it's definitely smt at it's core

I'm incredibly interested to see what happens here. This is my most anticipated future release by miles.

I don't think it will beat IV in darkness or epicness. It's the first title on the Switch.
