Somebody pays, somebody always has to pay. And we all know that that somebody is going to be the little guy. For example, potash mining/production from the province of Saskatchewan makes up 50% of the worlds exports. Give our mines are 1100 km or closer to the U.S. border an American farm isn't going to find cheaper transportation costs than they'll get buying Saskatchewan potash. And with President Trump increase to the cost of potash to the American farm did he just make Saskatchewan exports of cereals, pulses, and oil seed more competitive? How to piss off US farmer. I'm not close enough to the ag world to be able to say how much a 25% increase in the cost potash will increase the cost of a loaf bread but I can say with absolute certainty that it will be the the somebody buying the loaf of bread that pays.

As a European I am so sorry to hear this. I love America, but this is going to cause so much harm in the relationship between the countries of the west. It is only a matter of time before Trump does the same for goods coming from the EU.
He is single handedly breaking up all of our good, valuable, treasured alliances in the US. He is an enemy of the state and destroys everything he touches.
...AND the EU with the goods from the USA (Harley Davidson,Boeing,Ford,....)
also known as "What? No money? I want a divorce!" :)
@@jaimeb1281 You realize everything is taxed at a 17-27% VAT with the exemption of certain essential goods right? It’s not a tax on imported goods it’s a tax on all goods. You want USA goods to be sale tax exempt? Never going to happen, you can tariff the EU to 1000% the USA will never been given such an unfair advantadge no matter what.
All tariffs on the EU will do is make it set equivalent tariffs on the USA in response until Americans get tired of them and we both drop them.
Trump has already confirmed to put tariffs and launch a trade war on EU in the future. He said "Absolutely.. The EU has treated us so terribly". I wish we Finns hadn't ordered the fleet of F-35's, but fighter jets from Europe instead, for example Gripens from Sweden.. The US is our best export country at the moment. Ø
All other countries should unite to put tariffs against US goods
Won’t be good on the US to get 25% tariffs from Canada, 25% from Mexico, and 10% from China. Each country got 25% or 10%. But the US all together will get 60% tariffs.
the tariffed products are different and come from different countries. However, the tariffs enter the US economy together.
Not hiw that works pk
China fought back with a 75% tariff, not 10%.
Tariff gets paid by the American company importing goods. The costs gets passed onto the buyers and consumers
Damn, your math is amazing 😂
What does the US export to China?
Canada needs to find new markets. Decoupling from the IS economy should be the future goal.
Nobody wants Canadian good.
The US only buys them so you don’t collapse.
Agreed! Sick and tired of dealing with this 🍊 bully. Trump just helped China capitalize more markets.
Good. Canada find a new market. Many countries out there would love to replace Canada. The US has the largest market in the world that other countries would love to do business with.
@@americatoday1104 When the US is imposing tariffs on all their biggest trading partners, they’re really not making it very attractive to trade with them. Besides, the US is very unpopular in other countries right now, especially with their populations.
@ The US/Canada trade deficit was as low as 11 billions under Trump's first term. Since it has risen to more than 78 billions a year. That hurts American businesses and putting Americans out of work. Canada is greedy and bad. Unfair to the US.
🇨🇦 Canada stands with Mexico.... Boycott American products... Drink Tequila, Canadian Beer, French wine and Schnaps....❤️
I hope mexicos president and Canadas PM have trade talks for stronger partnership 🇲🇽🇨🇦

Australia stands with Canada and Mexico
To all the Americans who say how EU is gonna transport the crude from Canada
"According to available information, the European tanker fleet consists of around 787 tankers, representing roughly 8.5% of the total tanker capacity globally" 😂
American here. Will be stepping up my purchase of Canadian goods. Canada isn’t a problem.
It is time to down the American arrogance and rise the European Union
😂😂😂whattt europw is gone long time russia already destroying european economy so what can you do
@@Bob-20-c9kIts Not Russia. Its Actually US as they forced us to impose sanctions.
The EU buys Bonds from USA, which means EU has less export than import.
More eu canada mexico trade
EU start buying Canadian, Mexican and Chinese goods.
Of course prioritise EU member countries goods and services first.
Boycott all US goods and services globally.
Your distribution is geared only to sell into the US Market. Your horrid, expensive , oil is only able to be refined in America. Your F’ed without America
@@archangel763 you are in queue .. will get 25% soon

Hmm what doesCanada have that we don't have in the EU? Nothing lol.
@@1raindrops Oww well the US will get 100% tariffs, bring it.
