- Welcome to LocoMania with SimOnTrains as this video features plenty of locomotive movements from Steam, Diesel and Electric Locomotives.
This massive bumper edition features Locomotives that were capture during a mini Preston overnighter while heading to Scotland including a few Caledonian Sleeper Trains. Some Class 43 HSTs still working strong on Inter7City services out of Glasgow or Edinburgh to Aberdeen.
Some intresting locomotives on the main line like the Class 45 Peak and Class 33 Crompton and plenty of Class 37 Diesel Locomotives but also the Midland Pullman HST, Class 67 locomotives and plenty of freight!

Need to make one correction about this video as there been plenty of comments about this. Yes I know that Scotland is in the UK and I will admit that there a bit of the video that I did get wrong by saying 'HST in Scotland and also the United Kingdom'
While there is HSTs in Scotland that I caught while having a weekend in Scotland for the Leven opening, there were some HSTs that I caught as well in England as well and was thinking about these while speaking to the camera and accidently said 'United Kingdom' as the start and end of the video are not scripted. So I do apologise that I've did mess that up that part of the video, 100% my fault

I will admit, yes and no, yes I enjoyed being there but was running on something as my plan wasn't meant to be at Preston. I was travelling from Rugeley to London Euston and then get the Caledonian Sleeper from London to Edinburgh but a fatality happened south of Watford Junction and my train was stuck at Tamworth. Had to go to Birmingham for onward connections but they told me to get to Crewe and then onto Preston to meet the Caledonian Sleeper there, hence why I had that mini overnighter at Preston.
@@Sim0nTrains sorry to hear reasons behind that but it did look a great thing to try sometime. The Scottish HSTs look and sounded great too!!
The BR blue and yellow is a proper livery and that Class 45 look fantastic

That is spectacular. Such a range of locomotives and what they are doing. I've only seen the blue Pullman once, at new street. It really does look classy. The TfW livary looks good too.

When listening to it during editing I did notice that and through. yep doesn't make sense as Scotland is in the UK. But the intention was to mentioned the ones I saw in England as well and just freerolled by saying that quote, my apologises
