Nice film, looks very quiet, was it a Sunday?, nice wide streets, not many historic buildings, great looking war memorial, Best wishes from 🇬🇧

Thinking about moving here from Michigan after I get my Firefighting I & II certs. Indy looks like Detroit, only nicer & 1,000 times cleaner.

My home, my city. Where my first paid jobs were. Taco Bell downtown on Pennsylvania ST. And O’Malia’s at Alabama & New York & New Jersey. IFD HQ right across; Fire Fighters so helpful and lovingly aid people to anywhere or stop thieves from doing bad things!

Nice vid, I just subscribed because of the name of the channel, do you really mean to focus on tours in different places across the U.S?

This seems like the Zombie Apocalypse and nobody cares! Shooting such a video in a northern city in a warmer month would exhibit the city as more vibrant and alive. None of the outdoor cafes/restaurants were seeing customers due to the early Spring chill in the air. Narration would also help; bring along someone who can say something about what is being focused on, in particular the statue in tribute to John Wooden with all the basketball players legs surrounding it. I appreciate views of the Arts Garden (should've gone inside), Monument Circle, Circle Center Mall, Union Station, and the Indianapolis City Market but views of "the house that Peyton Manning built (Lucas Oil Stadium), Gainbridge Fieldhouse, and Victory Field as well as the Central Canal would have been nice. These are the venues downtown Indianapolis is most noted for after all.

True, but bear in mind that if this were a similar cold weather city somewhere else in the world then the streets would still be vibrant with life and movement. Even frigid russian cities have more of a pulse. The sad reality is that Indy is a hyper car-centric city. The new BRT is nice, but most people shop in ugly power centers on the fringe of town and never walk anywhere or use transit. Its a shame too, because as you rightly mention, there are lots of great attractions in town. I will say that this video appears to be taken at an off hour perhaps on a weekend night, but it is still somewhat disheartening. If you went up to some greenway in Fishers or Noblesville, it would probably be more lively than the entire Downtown, and that is just sad.

When I came from Costa Rica back in 2020, one of the first things that the work group did was to walk all the way through the Downtown. It was one of the most amazing experiences that I ever had. While I’m watching this video, I am feeling that I’m walking in again through the downtown streets.
