  • Hi everyone and welcome to the Mukuta Real world Range Test. Like the Dragon Predator and Dragon Slayer this test was done with dual motors engaged and third gear selected riding off-road and on road on similar route under similar conditions to gauge what you would expect to get out of these scooters if you were to head out on a days riding with friends and enjoy yourself.
    The dragon slayer and predator really surprised me with how far they went and how well they handled the conditions.
    How did the Mukuta stack up. Watch and find out.
    Test Specs
    Scooter: Mukuta 10 plus
    Battery: 21ah
    Max stated range: 55km

    yes been waiting for this, cheers mate.
    Edit: impressive 44km is enough for me haha. 48v is the cut off for 60v scooters, 57.6v is 50% and 67.2v is a full charge, anyways loved the vid stayed through the whole the video and i will be getting the mukuta very soon. can't wait for D.C unplugged to post their video out.

    30 miles to completely empty on full charge. 25 amp battery. 3rd gear single motor. 32 mph 99% flat terrain. 65 degrees F. Headlight on. Indicate false 1 battery level, flashing. Out of juice. I expected at least 40 miles.

    not enough info... are you running in dual or single mode .. what speed? fair enough off road... but in reality, most riders ride it on road track...

      hey there. on these and all of my range tests i run dual motors and gear 3 and ride it as hard as i can. my idea behind this is to give what you would expect if you go out and give it everything so its kinda the least you would expect.

    So if I remember correctly, and it is not listed in the manual but mukuta says if your battery voltage is below 56 do not push the power hard with two motors engaged, otherwise voltage sag may occur far enough that the bike will prematurely go into self protection mode. That could leave you stranded when in fact you still have a fair amount of energy to get yourself home. Also simply plugging in the charger for a few minutes will reset it so that you can get yourself home on a single motor.

    • @f.cscootriders
      @f.cscootriders  11 месяцев назад +2

      That would make sense. Remember in this video I'm testing this machine to its limits so I pushed it as far as I felt safe to do so without causing damage to the battery. It charged up fine and has no problems.

      @@f.cscootriders got it, thank you! On long rides I am learning that I go ripping around and have a lot of fun until I hit about 59 V and then I back off to just one motor and cruise, and I can get a lot of miles out of it.

      @f.cscootriders  11 месяцев назад +1

      @@user-ke9yk5qp3u yeah definitely. When I do my range tests it's both motors and third gear to give viewers am idea of what to expect when you go hard on them. Other reviewers like DC Unplugged do single motor low speed to get max range

    how much extra range do you reckon the 25ah battery would get? how much do you weigh? also how is your hurricane going? still loving it? whats max range you got on that beast?

    • @f.cscootriders
      @f.cscootriders  3 месяца назад

      It's definitely worth getting the 25ah version Mukuta. Yes I still have the hurricane and they get over 100km range taking it steady. I have a video here on what they get when pushing them to the limit.

    shopping for my first scooter is a mind-numbing exercise. I finally found the Mukuta and am impressed. Is it worth the extra $400 to get the Sansung/LG battery with higher AH over the one you tested, in your opinion?

      The choice is yours. Dualtrons are a great scooter as well. You do pay a premium for them so things like the tech you get is pretty cool. For me personally I love the value for money that Mukuta gives and the dragon range gives.
