    Really good review. Well researched and knowledgeable. Super frustrating how other people make videos about the scooter but don't do any homework and then they just poke around and show you things and don't even know what the hell it does! Hope you got a freebie out of it!

    So, I've had one of these for over a year now, I've done 4000k's on it and it's still going (say about 70-80% of it's original range). However, it's getting time to upgrade and buy something else. I was wondering if you can recommend another? (I've been told the lightning v2 2024)
    I'm 192cm at 90kg's, I use scooters primarily to get to and from work. The Mukata 10+ has been brilliant in acceleration/handling, but there are some detractors:
    -The shocks are not hydraulically dampened, they're just springs, this can mean some jarring sensations depending on what terrain you're on.
    -The speed controller can vary the top end/gear setting as much as 10kph between full/low battery.
    -The indicators are set to stay on for 15 seconds, you can't cancel them. This can mean long after you've made a turn you're still indicating.
    -The trip meter resets every time you cycle the power, can't easily keep track of distance/battery capacity without an external notepad/calculator.
    -No steering damper so higher speeds can be quite harrowing.
    -Dynamic breaking at max setting doesn't even engage till you're well over 45kph, so all that city riding at legal limit you don't get to recover any power back into the batteries.
    The good:
    -The ESC's are completely silent, no high pitch whine that the cheaper scooters have.
    -Huge deck so you can vary your stance easily.
    -Definitely made for taller riders.
    -Side lights and head lights are amazing for night riding - despite the headlights being attached to the deck, not too bad in the turns.
    -With dual motors engaged this will /power/ up a hill and on the flats, you will struggle to hold on. 'Quick' doesn't quite define how this scooter accelerates.

    So…….. I’m currently looking at this or the Nami Klima. I know you’ve ridden both. Any recommendations? It will be used as a daily commuter. Not looking for crazy top speeds, enough to keep up with traffic. Looking for a good hill climber, and overall quality, durability and live ability. Thanks in advance.

  • @shotou

    That is a super nice looking scooter dude, and ye gads the specs are crazy, with the new rules coming in just a week, are things like this going to be popular still?
    It was a club day yesterday, so while I did get to ride to go and get dinner, and I did try the new 12kmh-1 thing along a common footpath I didn't get long.
    The GTR-V2 really struggles to travel that slow, it's throttle is just not sensitive enough to make it work, I spent more time on the breaks than on the gas.

    • @dcunplugged31
      @dcunplugged31  Год назад +1

      Yeah they will still be popular. And comes in on the dimensions part of things as well. Not much has changed its just foot parths are 12kph so the ones you see out side your house and shop fronts but shared parths and 50kph streets can do 25kph

    • @shotou
      @shotou Год назад

      I might just give up riding on footpaths, and stick to my local streets.

    • @f.cscootriders
      @f.cscootriders Год назад +1

      It will be an adjustment for a lot of riders but it can be possible. I’ve had both versions of the gtr v2 and n single motor gear 1 they are quite capable of travelling at the lower speeds. But roads under 50kph with no center line I believe are still good for the full 25kph.

      I also hope they had a bigger battery upgrade, With $100-200 more it could be the top pick.
      The V2 lightning mounts generic brand cells so I would not compare with the LG ones.
