I’d love for you to compare the Ergobaby Evolve vs. Stokke Steps!
Her reviews on the ergo baby convinced me to buy it and I completely regret it! And I just recently purchased the stokke steps and love it so much! I used the ErgoBaby for barely 2 months and it was not good! IMO the two compare by- ergo seating is very “bowl” like (where the steps my baby can sit up straight) which makes the tray very far away, not to mention the tray is also very high up at chest level! If my baby wants to reach the tray on the ergo the straps have to be very loose and then she gets no back support. With the steps the tray is waist level and close to baby. My baby is 8 months and didn’t even come close to touching the foot rest on the ergo too, and the foot rest is not adjustable on the E where as on the steps it is and my baby can touch the foot bar perfectly at 8 months. Maybe before then she would’ve needed a book or something underneath her feet but we had the same problem with the ergo soooo… so happy with my steps and I wish I hadn’t bought the ergo. Even as a toddler tower the ergo sucks since it’s so difficult to move across the floor!
Omg thank you for this!!! I have the Tripp Trapp and it is NOT my favorite. I absolutely hate that such an expensive high chair doesn’t have a tray that is able to have bowls stick on.. and the honeycomb design underneath!! A cleaning nightmare. I’m selling it and getting this now - you sold me
oh gosh i forgot all about the honeycomb! I dk how old your little is yet, but once they hit like 2ish, getting in and out of the T-bar is a nightmare... i thought it was just me, but the mom who let me borrow her tripp trapp (we dont have ours anymore) for the "beauty" shots in these videos confirmed the same problem and felt crazy about it lol
Definitely considering buying this over trip trap! Off topic but what flooring do you have? I love it!
I have no idea! We are in a short term rental lol it's definitely not that vinyl soft flooring that a lot of people layover, but doesn't feel cold like porcelain tiles either. I'll ask next time I see the owners though!

One more question-can the foot rest be adjusted to where a 6 month old baby’s feet will be touching with no issues?

Is the foot rest adjustable for older toddlers? I noticed your using the kitchen helper attachment as a foot rest… but just asking since that is an additional add on. Thanks :)
I don't *think* so - i believe the foot rest included with the high chair only has 2 height settings, but doesn't fit at that lower one where I have the stander clipped in

Is it easy to clean? I’m thinking food can get stuck in the crevices.
It's been easier to clean than the Stokke and Fisher Price ones I've had! The chair is smooth, straps are removable, and the crevices at points of connection are pretty out of the way from where food goes
