Believe it or not, I've never used junebug, just poured it a few days back using ready made junebug but I love the idea of making a JB of my own design Thank you fir opening my eyes to the possibility of this neat color
Just try it , I even think it gives you an idea what the bait looks like in water , and thank you for inspiring me as I lost my right hand in 05, and ya I'm German !!!! So now I also am making panfish baits and doing laments is a hoot with those little buggers Cary on thank you again 👍👍👍
Great video brother. I am learning more and more everyday from you guys. I am planing on shooting my 1st molds tomorrow. I'm actually looking through your videos, trying to see what color to do, lol. I have the AI .5"Kicker Tail Worm Mold, AI 5" Core Shot Stick Bait, BT 6" Hellgrammite and BT 669 Stinger. So many choices lmbo.
Thanks for the tips. Just learning to pour my own. What exactly does the heat stabilizer do? Are your baits all floating or do you add anything to make them sink?
Brad Hancock heat stabilizer helps the plastic not burn and it prolongs the quality of the color..the more you reheat it the color will fade. I only add salt to make baits sink more if needed..if you want them to float more leave the salt out
I've only caught a couple bass using artificial baits. One was on a spinner with a white twin tail grub and the other was on a texas rigged rage tail in junebug.
Just to help with showing your colors put a flashlight buy the fan on the left and aim it on a 45 degree between you and your othe fan , hold your baits up to the flashlight and BOOM YOU WILL SEE 👍👍👍
I'll have to try something like that...my lighting is much better nowadays than when this video was made, but some colors are still really hard to film.
Cool video. If I may suggest something. Instead of apologizing for the lighting, I know that I would be very happy to see a clear picture with daylight on the showing the comparison with a slight commentary on what you look for in what you would see is a good bait and what would be a bait you would discard. Glitter clump, color lamination not quite right, etc. So it would show the process of making but also show the color with your professional take on the baits. Anyway it’s my two cents :) Prost!!
So I’m having an issue with my colors. I’m using lureworks junebug with lureworks emerald green flakes. The first batch came out as desired but after the second reheat, the purple turned more dark blue and the glitter shifted to a bluish tint as well. Is this an overheat issue?
Yes, junebug color fades quickly after a few reheats, and in general lureworks glitter is not as heat resistant as other glitters in my experience. try not to get it too hot.
World's Worst Fishing temps didn’t go over 375. I figured that wouldn’t be too bad but apparently I was wrong. Do you recommend another brand of glitter that may be a bit more heat resistant?
Larry Norton Pearl actually alters the color like red shad is red Pearl powder. Hilite gives the bait an outer-sheen of the color..see zoom glimmer blue and hold it light..it appears as if only the outside is blue..but the actual color of the plastic is unchanged
Fishing 101 the ridges on my senko are fairly understated..they are not very big ridges..it's kinda hard to describe. For example, the ridges on a strike king senko are much "rougher" and overstated
@@WorldsWorstFishing I am struggling with the colour combinations to create watermelon lures. Can you perhaps help me with the colours and amount of each I need to add to get it right?
They turned out really dark, but that was most probably due to the initial "40 drops" of color being turned into many hundreds, after squirting the dye into the Plastisol! In a low light water environment, these baits would become virtually black.

Erick Darkman Prado it's my favorite color in a frog!! It works in anything.
Ever make a June bug swimbait

Prost!! Made some schnitzels just last week! I am sorry to hear about your hand. Thank you for watching the videos.
How much will it be for better lighting? Let's make that happen I gotta see these colors better. I love your content.
T J Rosson Yeah I need to look into that! Glad you like the videos. Tight lines sir
Thanks buddy great job as usual. I’m in Orlando so I had to watch it on my phone. I think I’ll take the easy way out and buy the Junebug colorant.
basscatlildave works every time that way! Haha

My dad and I wanna order some things from ya, how do we do that, I guess I've over looked it? Thx bud
Where do you get your molds? Looking for 5+ cavity sticks
up here in iowa they laughed at this color but after 10 bass to their 3 i won lol keep posting videos
any thoughts on adding a drop shot bait to your lineup? specifically the KVD dream shot style bait?
Nice video dude! You should make a swirl colors for the next video!
charrua 12 well I'll have to learn how to do swirls..not sure how to do them with hand injection..I'll check it out
I use 40 drops of dead-on Plastixs Junebug, a 1/4 tbs of large and medium green glitter and a “smidge” of green pearl powder.

June bug finally!! Another great video!! Love following your worm making videos! Ever thought about making vibe tail worms / speed worms?
Dinsmore Outdoors when the zoom patent runs out on the speed worm I'll try and get one! Glad you like the video
I'm not sure your email from the LITL site is working, I inquired about some plastics with the cherry scent. Great videos and the products look great!
megarouge61 hmm I guess that contact form is broken..email me directly at landisthelimit@gmail.com .. I apologize for that
you're right about the German beer! here in Texas we have a lot of Czech beers and blends Shiner!
I've only caught a couple bass using artificial baits. One was on a spinner with a white twin tail grub and the other was on a texas rigged rage tail in junebug.
Chris you have to go to Cincinnati for Oktoberfest. U would love it. That's where I am from. Now I live in Mississippi.
I would love it too mich haha
I think it's a good idea using multiple size flakes in a bait. Afterall fish scales aren't a uniform size.
Thanks for the great video!!!!
Brian Cash my pleasure..many more to come!
Thank you I wasn't sure.
Where can I place a order? Is there a website?

Where do you get your molds from
u have not had a good german beer till u had radeberger pilsneer :D
Where do you get your molds from? I can't seem to find a great place to get them from. Any recommendations would be great!!
Best molds come from angling ai and BTS molds imo..biggest selection is from basstackle.
do you add salt to finesse worms and jerk baits or flukes?
Aldo Fraijo I do if the customer wants it

Froggington Post I like the Prost! Yes that's a good idea. I can do that on poor lightning videos!
For senkos do you use salt and softener?
915 HOOKIN' EM Yes..I did a video just on Senkos..check it out!
World's Worst Fishing okay I will thank you

Love when the notification comes up
Do you ever reheat the scrap plastic?
all the time!
where did you get the worm molds and what are they called
I think they were from basstackle..
What kind of Green glitter do you recommend for Junebug? Emerald green, Kelly Green, Moss Green etc?
Emerald green from lurecraft, always.
I am using emerald green now from lure works but not getting a green texture more of a blue green. What other green glitter would you recommend
@@braddezel2210 I like the emerald green from lurecraft..but if you want a different hue of green then try the Kelly green or something else.
Okay thanks your videos help out a lot! Love going back to watch the popular colors
What is your favorite bait to throw in Junebug??
ribbon tail are killers in junebug specially near bridges or deep cover
World's Worst Fishing bitters baits vibe tail worm, June bug with blue pearl tail #1 bait to use over here in the St. Johns river
Any craw for punching
Senko.
Where do I go to get lures from you?
What's the difference in pearl and hi lite colors?
Larry Norton Pearl actually alters the color like red shad is red Pearl powder. Hilite gives the bait an outer-sheen of the color..see zoom glimmer blue and hold it light..it appears as if only the outside is blue..but the actual color of the plastic is unchanged
We're did you get the ribon tail mold
Fishing is life 70 I think it was originally a basstackle mold
How wide are the ridges in the senkos

Can u please tell me how to make watermelon colour with 2 colours please i am strugling
Not sure what you mean...
@@WorldsWorstFishing I am struggling with the colour combinations to create watermelon lures. Can you perhaps help me with the colours and amount of each I need to add to get it right?
Order # 1070 here love the videos cant wait to receive the baits
How do I buy some of your soft plastics
www.landisthelimit.com
do you use any of the baits you show us that are not orders
alll the time!

Yep a little too dark.. nowadays my favorite way to make Junebug is using black grape pigment. Wish I had done it that way for years.
Ok thanks
If replicating a june bug, shouldn't there also be a hint of gold?
A drop is .05 ml, would be way easier to measure out 2ml rather than count 40 drops?!
The original Junebug color was purple/green flake on top, bubblegum pink on bottom
That sounds awesome actually!
World's Worst Fishing I believe Big Bite Baits used to make a finesse worm that color
Hey man how can I get some worm from you
Raymond Francoeur email me at worldsworstfishing@gmail.com and we can make all the baits you need!
World's Worst Fishing thanks for añswering my e email I will get in touch with you when I get back from vacation
Make electric blue swim baits and craws
James Bishop that's a cool color! Just purple dye and blue flake! Works well too
Is that GREEN..evergreen, emerald green, kelly green or moss green? Lure Works has 4 different greens...LOL
Or the candy canes
I invented a lure that is biodegradable gives of UV light and endless scent
That almost sounds too good!
