Wow! That’s delightful to see! Make sure that door doesn’t hit the tv though 😅!!

Yes, it would be nice to escape to a different time and place. At least for a visit.

Which TV set? And which camera is being used? Many thanks!

Looks like a 1953 General Electric model.

It's from a home that is a museum that you can visit. If you search for Strawbery Banke, you should see better pictures of the room. In the video, the outside image has been recreated.

Very interesting...but fake! You gave yourself away when you decided to add a ringing telephone next to the TV set. Who in their right mind would have thought of such a bizarre arrangement? Besides, supposing it were true why would they (the people watching "What's my line?) NOT answer it? You almost got away with murder...

And I would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for you nosy teens (Scooby-Doo reference 😉). The room is from an actual place, so I didn't specifically put the telephone next to the TV. My guess is that the couple got a bit romantic and headed off to the other room for 10 minutes and didn't care about the TV show or the phone ringing. Just a hunch. 🙂
