If they are straight up just ports like this one, then it will feel lazy and will only be for filler. At least with the retros in 8 and Tour, they breathe new life into retros as opposed to just changing a few minor things
I don’t mind remakes that faithfully copy the original. A lot of the Mario Kart 8 tracks fail to feel like the original and often omit things I liked about the original.
Yeah like even with the songs (especially wii tracks) they should keep the iconic ones unchanged but just with a few enhancements. It shouldn’t be like coconut mall in the dlc where they really ruined that song.
This reminded me of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet because the characters are way better modeled and textured than the world I love your work, by the way :)
