"the last thing you wanna have on camera is doubt"
2 Minutes later: "Say you're nervous. It's allright."
Solid advice on acting and on even other areas in life
@@ibrahimtastekin275 nervousness and doubt are two different things. Nervousness I was always told is just excitement without breath. Doubt means that you’re not connecting to the other person, you’re not immersed in the scene
Hugh irl: I 🧐👨🏫👔⌚🎬
Hugh in movies: 🤬💀🧔🗡
Ryt
probably such a good actor to work with
Such a gentleman.
As an Australian and wannabe actor, I still think this man is our best export.
I love how Hugh Jackman is so sophisticated
4:15 I go to school for theatre and his process is literally exactly how mine is. I just walk around the house as the character building it. I’ll clean , just do anything any normal human would do and see how what the character does in his daily life.
hey im doing that now
my mom and sis think im weird
michael kelley Haha no you’re not weird. Now that I have learned more you don’t have to do that. Unless you change the physicality of your character. Since the physicality should be automatic to the point where you shouldn’t think about it.
@@sovietninja6865 wow that makes sense thanks
He's so damn nice it's hard to imagine him getting mad
His advice is solid! Gotta love him and his craft!
He’s so great
3:45 , the way he said "art"
He's amazing. I can remember the first time I saw him not as Wolverine I was really amazed how classy this guy is. :-) He played that cool character wonderfully. I think he looked great with chops and that Wolverine hairstyle!
Omg, Hugh Jackman is just a human being like me.
Wow he looks like a king
I love him as a human being, a son, a man, husband and father.
What an amazing guy! Humble and real; great advice too.
Loved him in Les Miserables
He is a legend.
Wish you a beautiful life Mr. Jackman.
This was really helpful to me because I’m currently rehearsing a role as Queen of the Universe, and it’s been so hard to figure out how to move, stand, and be in my body as a regal superhero. Hugh is exactly right - I need to spend hours studying comics, photos, and movies, plus more hours practicing embodying those poses. It’s a matter of time and dedication, whereas I had just been getting frustrated thinking that maybe I don’t have what it takes. It *can* be learned - I just need to put in the effort!
Queen of the universe huh
Huge Act Man about Acting
for me Hugh Jackman is the last great hero as Wolverine in X-men, l still remember when l cried watching him plays Logan in the movie, you'll be in our hearts
He was great live as Joe in Sunset Boulevard in Melbourne

Notes to self:
What kind of directors do you want to work with
Freedom within boundaries
Walk around as your person
hey ! I am one of the first few to comment and watch this video! And watch my hero Hugh Jackman...Hope he sees :) :) . Always have loved your work and sincerity...
A man once called me an con artist im like more like an actor
fellow actors, i would like to know in you guys opinion, can you be confident and nervous at the same time?
YiFang Wooh yes
I think that sometimes confidence is disguised by nervousness, like how butterflies is usually just excitement in a different form.
Yes, sometimes those nerves push the best out of you. I don’t have any acting experience, but I am taking classes at community college, and I suck at it so bad but reading and repeating your lines will make you feel confident. And when it comes to perform, those nerves are like adrenaline and it’s that, that helps a lot.
Cool
That guy is breaking it down...
He Literally explained all the key words without any bulshit that other Actors always said. What A Legend. He is my First Love (No Homo)
Hugh
Weird hearing him without the Logan voice😂
Can I make a request,...can you please upload the interview with Rami Malek...thank you
do foreign actors have a chance in London?
Ailin Svetlana Ortiz Escoto I don’t see why not. If you have the drive you can be an actor any where
Work hard and you'll achieve your dream anywhere. Good luck :)
Yeah! If you speak another language that could lend you a role
I would never call him "Mr. Jackman". His name is James Howlett; alias: Logan
Truly a Gentleman, but to so successfully portray the temperament of Wolverine, I would say his wife is a lucky lady.
Meow
Hey Mr. Jackman, would you like to take collaborate with me? We gonna make cover video, All Stars : Smash Mouth! Hope you like it
Hafizha Sarah I’m sorry but that’s a retarded question lmao... No star is ever going to reply to some random person to collaborate on some random project for free...
@@fybremelts2849 you never know
Jew Jackman. Tries a lot. Nice Nolan movie and that robot movie
Not a Jew.
@@longlivingdude Hebrew then...it obvious thin lipped oily guy
