great video of my local walk love it down there. yep always plenty of birdlife and wildlife around the lakes even some rare species. the open grassy area at 8:30min mark used to be a property there and old house which is in ruins now up the ridge track from there. great spot. you prob heard the bell miner nearby. nice shots of the birds you seen.
Thank you so much for watching mate and now I have to head back and check out those ruins you mentioned. Local knowledge is always the best. I do try my best to keep local spots secret though as I don't want to see them fall to the damage of social media
Wow I didn’t know there was heaps of bird life ! The lake was affected by coal mining because ground water was removed . The level of water was disappearing. I hope the problem is being solved . Thank you for this lovely video . I like to visit there .
Great to see you taking the G9II for a walk :)
It’s a great combo and the af is pretty impressive. Pictures weren’t quite as good as yours though
haaaa well I had winter light in Melbourne to give me a boost:) @@ZakariKha

The lake is at its fullest since i have been visiting it. Reeds are growing back. I saw some tiny fish and heard frogs so i assume it is bouncy back!
@ great to hear
not affected by coal mining more to do with the two consecutive droughts we had. and now with good rain past few years has filled up..
@ I saw it on a video that I watched.
