My grandma made real hooked rugs back in the day. Mom and I made latch hook wool hook rugs in the 70's. They were beautifully designed and I have 2 bedside rugs that Mom made
It's certainly brought back memories for me as well, from back in 70's I'm glad that I know now what this hooks for. I used to drive myself mental wondering about it and what it's for, why does everyone have it in their knitting and crocheting tools. ❤❤❤

This is fantastic that you teach latch hook as well. Thank you so much, Mikey. ❤
Thank you for this demonstration. I never knew how to do this.
I used to wonder about this kind of hook. I'm glad you've demonstrated ❤❤❤❤❤
We did this in art class at school way back when. It was pretty fun.
Perfect instructions
Thanks for this Mikey. I’m just about to start rug making again after 45 years. I was a little girl when my Nanna taught me 💜😴

Latch
Where my “hooking” began many years ago.
If you fold the canvas over on the row your working on the hook goes through easier
It's better to go row by row. That way, there's a plush look to it. Also, when I did latch hook, the picture was printed on the canvas.
I used to do this many years ago because… well… cats. 😂
My mother and I did latch hook in the 70s, tried it again but the print was so tiny I couldn't read it . The fabric also used to be color coded
