I’m actually surprised that the Boots Advent Calendar didn’t make the cut as an affordable option. I’m torn between the cult beauty one or the Harvey Nichols one- I quite like that there’s treatments in this one.
For me Space NK is the winner. I love a lot of the products and most of them full size. Also a good mix. I’ve bought both the Cult Beauty and SNK advent calendars the past two years but I can only justify buying one this year. I’d buy the one from Liberty just for the packaging 😍 Net-A-Porter is always tempting. I assume some of them don’t have a lot of fragrances and candles because of international shipping restrictions. I live in Australia and I’m always surprised to see a candle or two, and free shipping for something so large and heavy. 🎄

As a liberty beauty box member I have used my credit to get the advent calendar, the art work of the advent calendar is beautiful and it’s a perfect mix of products either myself or my daughter will use
I also used my credit to buy the advent calendar and in absolute awe over the design of the box. I’d say it’s a winner. There are a couple of things I’d change, but overall very happy.
Completely agree with you on Jo Malone and Diptyque pricing themselves out. Was debating finally treating myself to one as a one off but they are just. Too. HIGH!!

Totally agree with what you say regarding the price. 300 or 400 etc for an advent calendar is insane. I always watch these videos of yours but any luxury calendar is out of my budget. What I did to get a little frisson of luxury is I bought an empty Diptyque calendar from ebay, which is re-useable and an absolutely gorgeous design and I just fill that with chocs/little things. Works for me!
I'm sure that's true, but it's only cheap if you can afford it all in one go! It's the age old conundrum - poorer people can't buy in that way so end up paying more. But yep, if I had the funds I would totally pay insane prices and congratulate myself on saving money 😀@@ruthiea729

I find these very hard. Cause like you see a calendar for £280 but the value is like £1000. It kinda just feels like it proves that they can make and sell these products a lot cheaper than they're marketed for or they'd be losing millions on these.

When the total value is £1300 for a £250 calendar and the skincare keeps you going most of the year it actually works out very cheap 🤷♀️
