I have both of these on order - BUT, I have never been more disappointed. Both of these characters were the highlights (for me) in the Ahsoka show - especially Baylan. Ray deserved better... It really astounds me as to how Hasbro screwed this up. The scale is SO off... I'm gonna have Baylan elevated somehow and Shin crouched if I can. Thanks for sharing!
landspeeder luke does have a decently easy fix tutorial up but I definitely agree. at this point I'm banking on shfiguarts or mafex to tackle them but highly unlikely tbh. thanks for watching Matt!!!
@@skywalkerhendrix I saw that video - and they do look better. Hasbro should own their ridiculous mistake and re-release these two (but I know they won't). 🤣
@@Matt_Bryant they definitely should. just give us a 2 pack with cloaks and fix the heights. we'll all buy them again haha 😄
You know they are going to redo this. They are learning from the Hot Toys mode of business. Screw up the 1.0 and down the line create a 2.0 version and get it to market.
Shin was pretty pointless, but Baylan... awesome. And yeah, these look like they were designed in 2015.

Many people said they should do a wash in the hair. IMO, it may make her hair look brown instead of blonde.
It all completely depends on how much wash it used by whoever is doing it, I’ve seen a few people do gray washes on the hair and it looks leagues better
Looks decent, scale is off; would really benefit from a wash and a little extra paint imo. Also it's funny Hasbro literally said they made and have orange blades but that's def red lol. Like last video hopefully mafex or figuarts do a more accurate proper rendition of them.
Definitely. and yes I actually compare to starkillers blade and these are an even deeper red. and at this point I'm just hoping one of those companies tries to do them. thanks for watching stu!

Further to my last comment, I will pair "Giant" 6 inch Shin-pad Peppermint Patty with a TVC Baylan, to really accentuate their proper height. 😅😂
And then I will add 6 inch Baylan's enormous laser-sword to 3.75 Baylan, so it will be taller than him.

I enjoyed this show so much that the shortcomings are not a deal breaker, I still really want this figure. If they just would have made her the same size and scale as Sabine, all would be good. Awesome review!

She's a decent figure. Better then I thought. However, she is definitely not a Sith. The Sith died with Vader & Palpatine.
Don't sweat it though. I constantly tell people on social media that Smoke & Kylo weren't Sith either but it never gets me anywhere.

I started noticing along with the thigh swivel going away waist articulation bends have also gone away and figure posing suffer from it especially the new CW Ashoka and new Ezra. They are Jedi and can barely bend at the waist. Come on Hasbro the less for more trend has gotten beyond desperate.

For sure looks super clean but very limiting for action posing for pics. I will give kudos for the newer designs as they are almost seamless and several figures released this year have been exceptional! The new CW Clone Troopers are amazing I can't put them down. Dig the reviews!@@skywalkerhendrix

I’m convinced now that Baylan and Sabine are too short and Shin is actually almost the right height. Ivanna is 5’8, slightly taller than Rosario at 5’7. Natasha is also 5’7 so she shouldn’t be significantly smaller than Ahsoka and Shin. I modified my Sabine to be the same height as Ahsoka, so I think Shin will work with her now. Gonna have to get me some Reva thighs to fix Baylan though.
no these two figures were just made at exactly 6 inches. shin is too big and Baylon is too small because they made them the exact same size not making them to 6 inch scale. all the other figures are fine its just these two that are off. not even just hieght but overall size is way off. thanks for watching
