    When you have work videos without music it's truly nice to watch. The sound of work being done is the best sound. You can feel you are at the place

      I totally agree - workshop sounds are the best music! Of cource there are even worse way to make video is to put music over speech. But I too enjoy the videos without music and even better is when the moments with powertools are slitely muted down 👍

    When I was working in plastics fabrication I made one of these 2.4 metres long for bending full length sheets. It's relatively easy and they work a treat once you have got used to them.

    I used a similar tool for a job I had installing custom acrylic showers and tub surrounds. It was an 8 foot long metal square tube with a rod inside nestled in an insulated housing. I laid it out on my work table and laid big sheets of acrylic on it just long enough to soften the material and bend whatever angles I needed. I hated that stuff but the tool was simple and effective

    Did anyone else notice the design flaw? 3:16 The rubber washer is no guarantee the screw won't make contact with the metal track.

    • @absalomdraconis
      @absalomdraconis Год назад

      I don't think the washer is for insulation, I think it's for spacing and to help hold the wire. The insulation should be provided by keeping the channel away from the angle bracket with the spring.

    For thicker pieces it's good to make a narrow cut (half of the thickness) in the inner side of the bending. You gonna have a small radius bend.
