I saw Satriani live in Mexico City some years back. Unfortunately the volume was so high that all his technical prowess and sound control got lost in the avalanche of noise. The mixing engineer must have been deaf

I don’t know what it is about Kenny Aronoff on drums that turns me off, but it was the same when he played with Mellencamp. It’s that HEAVY downbeat. I actually find it jarring. Say it ain’t so, Joe. Kenny is now your drummer?

Las canciones instrumentales no tienen letra. En su reemplazo están los licks, armonías y solos de la guitarra principal. Por tal motivo es una falta de respeto que se ponga a hacer babosadas en vez de ceñirse a la canción original. Es como si un cantante le cambiara toda la letra y hasta el ritmo al interpretarlo. Está bien que pueda improvisar algunos detalles pero esto es una payasada. Pésimo.
