And fans were happy to give him tickets to several shows he was going to miss.
      That's a very cool community.

Vladimir was a cool cat. I loved how he talked to me like he’s known me before. I’m a fan of his B-M videos.

You never forget your first BAND-MAID show. : )
Mine was at the Lodge Room in L.A. in 2018. The San Diego show was #5.
To be fair to Kobato, if Mincho doesn't want to be teased about being a hentai (pervert), she probably shouldn't keep trying to collect Saiki's sweat. : )
At the San Diego show, she wiped Saiki's brow with a cloth, then deeply inhaled from it, saying it was "mecha oishī" (very delicious!).
"mecha oishī" was also Sensei Saiki's Japanese lesson word that she taught the audience at the San Diego show.
I think it's safe to say that they exaggerate a lot for the purpose of creating entertaining bits.

I’ve seen in, at least, one online concert Kanami going around all the members blotting their sweaty faces with a handkerchief. She’s just nice and caring like that.
I think what we’re witnessing lately is just the ladies playing it up for the audience. They definitely watch and listen to us and try to play their “roles”
I, for one, don’t think that it’s weird or anything. I enjoy all of it!

I thoroughly enjoyed this "recap" of your experience. We've all seen tons of fan cams concert footage ( we're thankful for each and every one of them ) so hearing about, and seeing, people you met in line and got to talk to is super cool. I'm glad you had a good time. 🤘LONG LIVE THE MAIDs🤘

Thanks. I wasn’t sure if people would be interested to hear my own personal account. I’m glad that you liked it.

Saw them in Dallas last night (Miku's birthday!). Sounds like the set list was the same as San Diego. My first time seeing them, too. It was a total blast.

I'm glad you got to go and had a good time. I have yet to hear someone say they had a bad time. The crowd being so cool doesn't surprise me, but it's nice to hear.
I'm guessing the main reason they wouldn't do an acoustic song or two during this tour is because they would be expensive to ship from Japan and not worth it to rent. That's also why they don't seem to be using wireless systems. They're here to entertain us and all, but James LaBrie of Dream Theater said during his interview on The Charismatic Voice channel that a musician makes most of their money these days from touring. If the maids can keep costs down by using wires and not incorporating acoustics into their set, that's what they're going to do and what they should do. I do wonder how many picks the three that use them brought with them.

Great recap-i saw myself inline....and i was in 2nd row..in front of you to the left. I agree..i wanted Moratorium...which they did the next concert in AZ...also Puzzle...Also agree about the community of fans. Talked to about six guys in line as were were in line for over 4 hours..all great dudes that made the wait in line more enjoyable....just talking to fellow maidiacs about the love of the band....was awesome. I saw them in LA two days before as well...4th Band Maid concert overall. and they NEVER fail to deliver a great show.

Hi Kenny, Maidiacs are the best fans out there for sure! They made waiting in line less of a chore; more like a social event. I actually enjoyed waiting in line for a concert for the first time, ha ha ha!

Alan it was nice meeting you. I was a few people in front of Tiffany when we met. My wife and I also ran into you and your wife outside after the show and we chatted a bit. We were lucky enough to go to the intimate Phoenix show and got to hear Moratorium live. Both SD & PHX shows were awesome. And like you said, the fans made it even better!

Great breakdown of your Band-Maid experience. I think the set they did was great. Can't complain about any songs they did do. The mark of a great band is satisfying those attending the concert but leaving them wanting more. Biggest reason we want more is because they have so many great songs. It must be hard for them to choose which ones to leave off. That is the mark of a great band with great music.
Miku started the "Mincho is hentai" bit in the first show during the 'Take a Picture' routine. Someone had the video. I was at Dallas. During MC time with Saiki and Mincho someone in the audience yelled "Mincho is hentai." Saiki very quickly said, "Kanamai is not hentai." I think I know why it started.
Mincho was flipping the back of Po and Saiki's skirts in a show. Kanami got in trouble with Saiki. It could have started with that. During Domination mischievous Mincho flipped Po's skirt again. That's is why we love the band beyond just the music. They have great personality.
I love their MC times. Magic Spell Time is something unique for crowd participation. In Dallas it was Miku's birthday which made the show extra special. Everyone even sang Happy Birthday to her. Their English is also getting better.
This may have been the most fun I had at a concert.

Miku getting her own back on Mincho for making her eat the MISA pookie stick!...hehehe!.......N.. your right..I am sure Miku would never of hurt her friend on purpose...The effect on the tour would not have been good if Mincho was not happy.
