    Mel and mat Monroe two of the best singers of that period great smoth voices.

    Donny Osbourne was Mel's regular drummer for years. He could really cook on the skins, much like the elder Buddy Rich.

      Buddy Rich was his mentor and teacher. Donny's father was head of Slingerland.
