  • I am happy to share my knit dishcloths and crocheted coasters that I worked on in December. Both projects worked in Lily Sugar 'n Cream Yarn. The yarn for the dishcloths was purchased at my local thrift shop. The yarn for the coasters was a gift from a friend.
    KNIT DISHCLOTHS
Approx. size--Between 5-6 inches square. I think that knitting them smaller than most patterns call for will work better for the size of my hand since cotton yarn can be heavier and drapier when wet. I cast on about 24-25 stitches using a size 7--4.5mm Takumi Bamboo knitting needles. Color I used was Newport.
    CROCHETED COASTERS
I used a USA Size I-9 crochet Hook and just crocheted 4 rounds. The color was Wine.

Thank you, Amanda! Yes.. The join is the one you do with the sewing needle. I think it's called the invisible join. I hope to be sharing more projects soon. Always, thanks for watching and commenting, Amanda. :)
