Wow Dom that was a facinating summary in concluding that this event turned your life into a life of crime rather than rehabilitation (Even though you should not have been there in the first place). I have to say that I spent half of my adult life working in county jails and prisons and have seen many good people become a victim of the system thus runing their future instead of preparing them for a better life.

Turns out he was a DEA informant and two months later my friend was arrested after a few big sales at his house The creep set him up. He did like 3 yrs in Coxsackie for this matt

Hey Dom, what a great story in terms entertainment, but what a terrible experience this must have been for you, and anyone else who has encountered corrupt law enforcement. Whereas I believe we are a country of law, and lawlessness cannot be tolerated, we cannot allow law enforcement to turn into an entity that practices a “the end justifies the means” method of addressing crime. Unfortunately though, this is far more common than most people think. Much love and respect.

@@Johnnyrocks34 I’m going to try and do my best to keep my response to you somewhat respectful. First of all, your response to my post isn’t really responsive to the point I was trying to make, but rather to the fact that I believe Dom, despite the fact that he’s a convicted murderer. Just because someone has committed heinous crimes doesn’t mean that everything they say is a lie by default. This is especially true when there is no motivation for them to lie such as in the case here where the incident Dom is speaking about is in the past, and no longer subject to legal consequences. As far as Dom’s accusations against law enforcement, the history of corruption in the law enforcement community is long and plentiful, especially on the federal level, and that’s coming from someone who is an avid supporter of law enforcement. My last point as to why I choose to believe Dom, is that what he’s alleging is public record, therefore subject to FOI requests, and easy enough to refute. There are plenty of channels on RUclips that go after gangsters turned cooperator, turned RUclips content creators who lie or embellish to make their stories sound more interesting. Im fairly certain that those channels would be all over Dom if there were lies and inconsistencies in this narrative. In closing, I’d like to explain the point of my post, which isn’t to make a martyr out of Dom, or any criminal past or present, nor is it to bash the law enforcement community. However, I think it’s critically important to point out the pitfalls of law enforcement overreach whereby it becomes acceptable to fabricate crimes or evidence in order to incarcerate a person or persons who agents of law enforcement believe may be guilty of serious criminal activity despite lacking the evidence to support those beliefs. I think we can both agree that it is an incontrovertible fact that the United States is a democratic republic, and that all of its citizens are protected by the Constitution of the United States. Keeping that in mind, law enforcement’s job is to investigate crimes, looking for the people who committed those crimes, and arrest them for those crimes. What is absolutely not within the purviews of law enforcement is for them to investigate people merely because they are deemed suspicious despite not being suspected as the perpetrator of a specific crime. The reason I emphasize this is because investigating people rather than crimes is antithetical to how investigations are supposed to be conducted and will inevitably result in law enforcement then looking for a crime they could try to tie the person into. Don’t you even realize that investigating people rather than crimes is what is done in 3rd world countries, or countries led by tyrannical leaders? I’m here trying to point this out and you’re trying to obfuscate it with your nonsensical response. Quite frankly, your takeaway and response to me are not indicative of someone with a particularly high IQ.
