And as for the robe thing, not to call Anthony Arilotta a liar, but that's the only time I've ever heard of that in any family at any time, so perhaps that was an isolated incident. Regardless if family or era or whatever, the dress code at making ceremonies has always been the same for all involved, from the proposed guys being made, to the already made soldiers, capos, and anyone higher up than that, all of them are required to dress sharp, meaning that they are to wear one of their best suits.

Just like anything else in life, I'm sure it varies. Depending on who's talking to who. I'm sure they are used interchangeably
Borgata is probably used most common. But seeing as this was Vinny’s first time in front of all the capos he made it official. He was probably also trying to reinforce their confidence in what they were doing considering half the family was sitting in jail.

As time went on did your confidence continue to grow? Or was it a mixture of Braun and confidence? Did you get into a lot of street fights growing up that helped with that? I checked out the Tunnels Al Capone dug under the streets Moose Jaw back in the prohibition days. Goes to show that gangsters had to think of creative ways to hide out when commercial airlines weren’t up and running yet! Keep up the great work!
Apparently there use to be a train that travelled directly from Chicago to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan during the prohibition era. Moose Jaw had lots of Chinese immigrants at the time. He started up a legitimate laundry business and hired numerous Chinese immigrants to work there. That’s where the tunnels began. When the heat was turned up, he used it as one of hideouts. When the heat died down, he’d go back to Chicago. It was neat thing to see that’s for sure!
