Placing the cannula with the tubing groove pointing upward proves problemmatic during shower time. The little V-like connector tends to collect handwash soap and then it has to be removed with a toothbrush or other means. In six years of using this set I have found it's much cleaner to place the cannula and tubing with the connector groove pointing downward; no soap collection, all good!
