Since a just build a head board myself, I can share a little thing with you that I changed afterwards: you have such lovely (& work intensive) walls, glue small little pieces of cork to the top back of the head board. Really good against scratches 😊👍🏻 Looks really cosy btw!

Love the headboard! I know people that collect old pallets from stores that are throwing them out. Sometimes the wood is actually quite beautiful. If not, good for bonfires. 💜💙🐈⬛🐈

In the US we can get 1inchx 1inch wood for balusters. Or use wood or cable from floor to the ceiling. The cable would give a less obstructed view and you could angle it out a bit at the top for more shoulder room. Happy late birthday Bee! Another way to save on soil is to lay old wood, trees, branches into the bottom first, then fill with soil. It will decompose and be richer for it. Everything looks so beautiful. 🌟 The chickens are lovely.

Have you also seen the clear glass or lucite railing with wood posts - beautiful and you can see through it and still be safe! So many options! Can’t wait to see what you do!

The broccoli are bolting.. so you need to chop the flower heads off and give them a bit more water.. they do that when stressed. Keep taking off the florets (you can eat them in a salad) until the plant develops better... xx

Bed is brilliant, well made as usual. Looks really good. Better to have 3 of you working together so as not to strain yourselves. So glad you areback to your happy healthy selves. Fernando crashing out is relaxing. Goats look so happy too. I like that as Theo drives past he picks an orange from the tree. Take care.
Love the headboard! I know people that collect old pallets from stores that are throwing them out. Sometimes the wood is actually quite beautiful. If not, good for bonfires. 💜💙🐈⬛🐈
I am still in amaazement how beautiful the barn has turned out. You guys have done an amazing job on your home. The bed frame is beautiful and I can't wait to see all the new projects you all have in store for us. Good to see you both are recovering well.

In the US we can get 1inchx 1inch wood for balusters. Or use wood or cable from floor to the ceiling. The cable would give a less obstructed view and you could angle it out a bit at the top for more shoulder room. Happy late birthday Bee! Another way to save on soil is to lay old wood, trees, branches into the bottom first, then fill with soil. It will decompose and be richer for it. Everything looks so beautiful. 🌟

Have you also seen the clear glass or lucite railing with wood posts - beautiful and you can see through it and still be safe! So many options! Can’t wait to see what you do!

The broccoli are bolting.. so you need to chop the flower heads off and give them a bit more water.. they do that when stressed. Keep taking off the florets (you can eat them in a salad) until the plant develops better... xx
