Bobby Elliot who was in the Hollies would be mighty proud of this. They were one band that never needed a session drummer like a Bobby Graham to cover any drum problems. EXCELLENT COVER SAL
Wow, what a treat. I normally don't check my mail twice in one day but sure glad I did. Otherwise I wouldn't have known about this wonderful video until tomorrow. Anyhow, the treat is that I LOVE the Hollies and this is one of my favorites of theirs. You also videoed it at my favorite camera angle. What more could I ask? There are very few Hollies covers on the net and this is so good I put on my You Tube channel along with some others you did. Thanks so much for this upload.
Your drumming is super-crisp and tight. Wonderful. Bobby Elliot is my favorite drummer. Could you do "Look Through Any Window"? Elliot does some wild fills in that tune that really come through on the 45 single.
Thank you for viewing the video. The 60s was a very fertile time for music because it was soulful and heartfelt and played by real people instead of manufactured like much of the music today.
Very nice, i got at home V drums as well (Roland something 12...i think) for too many resons i did not played for about more then a year - any time that i see one of your talented covers i am swearing to my self to buy that stupid beckup battery that i am missing....just excuses...i must tell you that i am enjoying very much of your drums performance! thanks!!!
hey man, great job! I'm a beginner and i'm learning a lot from you videos, could you please attach in the comment section of every vid the drum tabs of the respective song, PLEEEASE!!!! i'm really bad at drumming without a sheet, I forget everything
Thank you and I'm glad to learn my videos help other drummers like yourself. I do not use "tabs", if I do use a chart it is one that is written in standard drum set notation. Of all my covers, I've only used a chart like 5% of the time, either one drafted by myself or someone else online or from a publication.
Those brits uh ..? they were good.... :) I read yesterday that at the height of the MerseyBeat craze there wer 17 bands giging regularly in Germany.. Whats with the genes in Liverpool ? Hollies were from Manchester So the whole island was singing ... Guess winning a war does something for ya. Another shot of adrenaline Ryth. ! Graham Nash was with The Hollies ?
Great harmonies but ... somehow (I may be going deaf) I can only hear distinct harmonies in 3 or 4 groups. Beatles, Beach Boys , Mamas & Papas and CSN&Y.. age sucks

Yea Bobby has a good spirited groove. I wouldn't have covered the Hollies if they had a poor groove. Thanks.
