It’s the same engine, they just butchered the gameplay somehow after Unity
It doesn't feel like Unity. As much as I wanted it to be, it isn't. Doesn't mean the parkour in Mirage is bad, but it's not as good as it was as in Unity. Also I want to point out that while the parkour in Unity is great, it isn't the best. What it does have is the best parkour animations. That's the difference. Comparing Unity and Mirage, descending certainly feels different. A small comparison would be that Arno wouldn't hang from a building unless it was too high up. However Basim still does while descending, instead of jumping to the nearest lower point as Arno does.
Is it possible to do Lache Flips like in Origins/Unity? I'm guessing they didn't bring it back as Valhalla didn't have it.
Valhalla has them, and yes they’re in Mirage
lache flips?
what
Oh wait my bad you meant to swing around when jumping to a pole no you can’t do that it was removed in Odyssey
I thought you meant the backflip
I meant smoothly changing direction while swinging on a bar(and doing it repeatedly while staying on the bar). Not the flip off into a haystack/water.
In Jcers video he couldn't do it in Odyssey & Valhalla but I don't know if there's been any new developments on this since then.
@Omar-Asim I misunderstood, you can’t do it
oh my gah
How do you do the first jump
You move and hold the jump button
@@Wbubbles3998but he doesn t Alwais do it
@@danielefilippi4318 Idk then bro
@@Wbubbles3998i figured it out. You gotta jump from the right angle. Find spots like in this video where there’s a rope below you and jump diagonally towards it. I recommend jogging until you figure out the proper distance and angle where you need to jump from to trigger this animation. Keep doing it until you get it to work and eventually you’ll figure out the right angle. And just replicate the same thing for other areas just like this and it’ll become easy to trigger
@@Wbubbles3998yea you do, you did it in multiple videos. Why u lyin lmao 🤣
nah
definitely not
Ok
Ok
not really
All these cry babies who say unity parkour is the best dont even know how to use the mechanics in AC Unity 😂😂😂.
You mean the people who say Unity has the worst?
@@JFVideos960 no both
@@notdedsec_ck9383 uh no, just people who are trash. How are the people who are good at Unity not understanding of the mechanics??
Nah mate
Only good thing about Mirage was the world design. The rest of it was utter and complete trash.
Ok
Yea naaaaah.... as someone that still plays unity to this day, i can confirm this Is nowhere near It 😅. I'm playing Mirage & trying to make It as smooth as possible but lets face It, the parkour in Mirage & the last few ACs Is HEAVILY sticky, limited & clearly scripted af through both world design & the obviousness of where Basim Will Stick his ass every time 😂. I love Mirage so far but damn the parkour and the repetitive very slow & heavy stealth assassination animationw are all really trashing the experience for me 😅
Every complaint you have with the new parkour could be said for Unity and would be just as true
@@Wbubbles3998 nope, i played both and unity has much more Freedom & much more versatility and much more alternative paths. Both mirage's parkour and world design look very scripted for specific approaches as opposed to Unity's Total Freedom. I still go back to Unity even this year lol, definitely hundreds of times more fun, fluid & creative parkour experience there's really no denying that 😅
At this point even Cyberpunk 2077 has Better parkour path variety than the new couple ACs 😂
Still trash
The parkour is pretty good in this game. Ubisoft should carry on with the old-school-ish assassin's creed games.
And if people want those rpg games so bad Ubisoft can just simply reboot the Prince of Persia series.
Nonono, leave Prince alone, I don't want my boy ruined
I feel like every triple A game is a rpg openworld or a soulslike now, AC should remain like this.
Everybody complained that every ac works in the same way but nobody thought for a moment that every game now is literally the same, and ac was its own genre
even better.
not even close
Not really it looks very slow,. The animations are clunky with huge jumps in climbing up the wall.
0:21 rope dont bounce and flex under his body weight
Now you’re just nitpicking lmao. Ain’t nobody give af about a rope not moving☠️
yes i am because i wants only the best from my games
press x to doubt
