I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this reaction video. This is, in my opinion, one of the most canon-accurate in terms of the way dazai reacted! Amazing!
Okay I didn't have a chance to go in depth about this video before but I will now. Here's some things I really liked! - Ranpo being concerned while Kunikida Atsushi and Yosano were still upset/confused, and him using his deductive skills here in general? He's not often given attention in videos so... - Atsushi coming around and giving Dazai his support. Dazai's wink at him - Dazai's fourth wall break and the reference to Chuuya's... unplanned swim. I also noticed Dazai had eye highlight for about a second after the fourth wall break - The split second glitch frames. Dazai's void face. The extra bit of text at around 9:09 "They're pitying you" ? He is 100% lying and/or holding out on information, probably both. Especially since even afterward the edit goes in a specific direction, and especially since he seems to be genuinely emotional by the end of the video? The little white orbs at the corners of his eyes. They're not misplaced eye highlights, because we briefly saw his eyes lit up earlier!

The amount of DETAILS are in this reaction is so incredible! First, the reference to chuuya when Dazai thought ‘too bad Chibi has to go on a little swim in the future~’ I was already shocked by the detail. Not to mention, Dazai breaking the fourth wall and then his eye shining for a little a second after he broke the fourth wall is such a cool detail
i love when dazai breaks the fourth wall, when he said "too bad Chuuya has to take a little swim" 💀 i onky read the chapter 105, so here's what i think personally about that. It's all part of dazai's plan. Chuuya is the most powerful person in bsd (minus dazai), and it honestly surprises me that he's a side character, anyways as i said, there's no way dazai would let chuuya die especially with their bond (the lasts scene in dead apple, the way dazai admires him and all, he looks so mesmerized by chuuya) but great video overall, the characters don't stay stuck with the same expression and actually react, that's pretty nice!!

Did you watch the anime everyone knew he was in the mafia from the start expect kunikida and his reactions to it weren't even that sad-angsty he literally choked/yelled at dazai them went on with his day. also, dazai doesn't let his guard down so easily its extremely rare to see especially around people and when something he doesn't like is happening. just trying to give you some feedback . edit: yasono was also in the mafia so she knows more then atsushi would
1: I know everyone knew he was in the mafia that’s why I said “Past Ada react” meaning literally the first episode 2: the only reason Kunikida went on with his day in the anime is because he saw dazai’s being in the mafia at face value, he did not think about the trauma and abuse suffered on dazai’s part. 3: At what part did he let his guard down? I don’t really think you can see that much through a gacha character, his whole personality this whole time is a facade 4: yosano isnt surprised about the mafia itself, just that he was in it and the fact that morí victimized another child
you tried. did you know that kunikida checks up on dazai every 3 hours? he even out it in his schedule to do so. Why? because he cares about him. You wouldn't know as you seem to only be an anime watcher the manga shows way more than your sad ass could ever say
