In a nutsell, the scapegoat ego controlls me.
There are many people who can not stand their own personality, so they go out all the time. They can not stay at home, in a quiet room doing nothing, because their own personality bothers them.

When I blame where I'm at in life on, say, how my parents raised me and leave the ball in their court or wish I had the maturity at 20 that I do today, I stagnant. When I take on the responsibility to move forward from where I'm standing, I progress. Doesn't matter how accurate my assessment of my parent's parenting skills. (Could not have asked for better.)
Deal with it. I definitely learned "you can't save everyone" early in life, but I still have problems with making my happiness my priority.
It's never intentional. I just feel overwhelmed by everything I want to do (be a good dad, get through law school, be a good lawyer, etc.)

These are the key points many parents forget to tell their kids about... along with "The birds and the bees!"
Deal with it. One of the biggest lessons I learned in life is that each I said 'Yes' to life's challenges, my tolerance to pain increased, and life made the cost of dealing with it more affordable and the reward sweeter

Your mind is a scary place, unless you tame it. I'm dealing with this. Sometimes talking to positive people you trust helps quiet the voices. When you're alone, your mind runs in different places. Being around people you care about clears room in your mind for positive thoughts.

Deal with it! Flip it: Everything that is going right is due to other people and everything that is going wrong is due to my choices. That is a great way to look at things! Thank you!!

I relate to #15 the most: "You create most of the problems in your life". My locus of control is internal. Yes, there are things out of my control, but when bad things happen I usually discover I was at fault. I deal with it. ;) When I have a problem, I correct what I can about it and plan to ensure it won't happen again.
Out of all of these views this video has acquired. I am sure there's at least one person that has changed their path into an uplifting direction. Good video.

I know plenty of wimps that would start crying figuratively and literally from these harsh truths. Alux is great because they cut straight through the bullshit and speak the truth. The truth is sharper than any blade . My family mainly my father should watch this video. Unfortunately he's scared of technology and let's fear cripple him.

We should always be trying to get more grit to deal with the tough situations life throws at us. In psychology, grit is a positive, non-conscious trait that comes from our effort/perseverance combined with a passion for a long-term goal

There was a man who didn't know he was diagnosed with something and took all the responsibilities whatever happened untill he found that there's some chemical imbalance in his mind...no body knows what's the cause and what's under our control..but yess taking responsibility is the first step to move ahead

While these truths are hard to swallow, I will rather admit to the fact that I have a problem and do something about it or ignore my egotistic mentality and seek professional help than be a complainer. As to which of these painful truths I relate with the most is, you create most of the problems in your life. DEAL WITH IT!
