- Hello everyone!
In this video, a snowy idyll and a pleasant atmosphere await you in my forest dugout. I will show you how I made very practical wooden things that are useful for my stay in the cabin. You will see how I made a wooden drawer under the table where I store my old hand tools. You will also see a simple way of making a wooden box for firewood and a very high-quality wooden stand for curtains. I framed the black and white picture of my dog Laika in an oak frame and put it on the wall.
The dish I eat at the beginning of the video is the recipe from the previous video, only this time instead of lard I mix it with warm milk. A very tasty and high-quality dish of our elders. The yarrow and chamomile tea I drink in this video was picked in a nearby meadow during the summer season.

Very gratifying to see a young guy using HAND tools. A brace and bit, hammer, chisel, all the rest just like my Dad tought me. AND cleaned his tools. No Dewalt 20 volt fancy-ass power tools ha ha.Dad died young when I was 15 but I bet he's smiling at the work we see here. Great video sir.
@@markgrove2030 God Bless your Dad!! I agree, this guy does not mess around with batteries, cords, and all that jazz. He is a man after my own heart and yours as well. Just like your dad, mine taught me early about how our tools would only last as long as we took care of them. Because we were very poor and tools were expensive, if it broke, got lost or failed because of misuse we didn't get another one for quite a long while. I just get thrilled watching Lexon build his creations using "real" tools, it's like watching a home video of my dad!! Take care of yourself my friend!

Every episode that cabin gets more and more appealing, it's become a proper HOME,and not just a shelter. With Alex Wild's solar battery setup, I'd be tempted to make that permanent residence. A man, his dog, some great food, and perhaps a wee dram of whisky to ward off the chill...that's MY idea of heaven!

I have just spent the better part of two days binging your videos. I never want them to end. That dugout - there is no power in Heaven or Hell that will ever demolish it. The photo of Lajka is gorgeous! Ears up listening to the forest sounds. It's obvious she is a great pupper. You did a good job choosing the curtains, the color compliments the wood inside and out.
In some countries of Europe, all huts have such curtains. A recognizable symbol. They give some warmth to the wood, so it was not difficult for me to choose.

Не хочешь в свой дом принести механический будильник или небольшие настенные механические (которые заводятся ключом) старые часы с маятником боем ?! Это будет +1000 баллов к уютной атмосфере !!! 👍👍👍 А воду ты хочешь найти в виде родника или хочешь выкопать небольшой колодец? В горах я не знаю , как искать воду под землёй, а на равнине - могу подсказать , если что 😉👍.

A pleasure to watch your videos. Each project, large or small are well thought out and executed. The cabin fits it's beautiful natural surroundings and each smaller piece, table with drawer, curtain rods etc. completes the livability and warmth of the cabin. I can't decide if this is my favorite build or the incredible cliff build. You out did yourself on both. Of course they are all wonderful builds. I really do think that this one takes the cake tho! I knew the frame you were making just had to have a picture of your dog. The curtains certainly give the place a homey feel. There is no doubt that I could live there forever!!! I love that stove! You did a nice job on the box, frame and drawer. Rub some candle wax on the drawer slide where it meets other wood....this will make it glide easy. Love your videos and thanks for sharing them!

You still need a bin for the firewood. I’ll bet you come up with something wonderful. Oh, and there it is! Wax the rails on the drawer and table with a candle and it will slide easier. Perfect tool box. Love the curtains. At some point you can make tie backs with twisted branches just like the shelf by the stove. The frame around Lajka’s photo is the perfect touch for the cabin. Right above her sleeping spot. I hope you keep this cabin for a long time.
I gave the hut away. I hope they will maintain it regularly 😆 And yes, it is located on my land with all the necessary permits
