I agree with you on the faster knitting with cables vs. straight needles. When cutting the circular cable on half I glue a wooden bead on & mark the bead with a pen of the size of needle. Also agree on knitting dark yarn being hard to see . Thanks for your clever ideas.
Miss. Sheila if you put a wooden bead athe and burn a bit end of the cord it well hold the stitches in place thanks for sharing ❤lots of love in gratitude from corona CA
Hi Sheila, thought about using those little Cork bottle stoppers for the cut needle ends maybe put a little superglue on the end then push into the Cork. Might be worth a try and if Cork too big cut it down.😊
I'm glad you are OK, Sheila. It's sad about Molly losing her sister Ann RIP. I know what you mean about black - my Mum was a big fan of black but I do often find it a draining colour. At least you can swop to the white cardigan in the evenings! ❤
Hi Sheila, good idea on cutting the cable of your circular needles. Would the needle stoppers you received in that little tin work on this as ends/stoppers for the cables? Maybe glue them on?

Hi Sheila could you glue needle stoppers on the ends of the cables you are a brillant knitter and an inspiration to us all ❤
Several years ago the cables needles were called "jumper" needles.

That’s great that the needles worked out with you cutting them.😊❤

Use hot glue and layer wool around end of cable until you think its thick enough to stop stitches falling of
Hi again! ❤
Hi Sheila, I do like the pattern of your cardigan, have you made a childs size pattern? x
Sheila, what did you call the needles that were used before the circular needles we use today. I had never seen that kind of needlr before.
