@@dans_Learning_Curve I'm afraid that includes me, even after watching him (try to?) do it. (LOL, I can't even tell if he succeeded!) So, what's a "Rockford"?
Casey: "do whatever you're going to do to turn around." Casey's Dad: "A Rockford." 😀 Love it!!! 70s detective TV show Firebird references! Also, Casey, you need to watch some Rockford Files
James was a cool guy....his teen years were spent in LA and Rockford was perfect character for him. He often jumped in and drove the stunt scenes for the show. He had a race team called AIR and I remember the 69 4wd SC Ramblers he built for the Baja 500. He drove the Indy pace car one year too.
It's great seeing you and your Dad doing recoveries together. Including Grumpy on a few would be a nice bonus. I think you need business cards to give to all that you rescue.
I've commented before on how that camera hides its own pole, but still casts a shadow in bright sun. At 10:33, you plant the post into the snow to unhook the yank'um. You can see your hands wrapped around the post, but you can't see the post. Very interesting tech here. Another great video. And I've come to believe you are QUITE good at this, even if you won't claim it yourself.
HEY! Good morning Casey! For some reason youtube has not been notifying me of your videos again. Makes the second time this has happened. As always thumbs UP to you! 👍
@@Knightraven000 I do not know , one time I actually got unsubscribed completely. I was wondering why Casey had no new videos out. So I searched and discovered that he did and that I was not longer subscribed. I have heard of many other people having this happen on many other channels. So now I always make sure that I am still subscribed and always check to make sure that the notification Bell is still clicked. 👍
@@CaseyLaDelle That makes sense, especially if somebody makes a lot of comments. I know that comments and engagement with the channel is a good thing. But maybe the algorithms interprets that as possible scammers. Funny thing is that they will let thousands of those telegram scammer comments through at a time. I moderate for a channel that has close to 600,000 subs now , he gets thousands of comments on each video. One time I removed over 1400 of those telegram scammer comments in the early morning hours. I don't understand how that can get past , but it does and did. And of course it always happens on a freshly released video.
@@richardthomas1743 yeah that annoys the hell out of me. Scammers get through on almost every single video, but legitimate accounts get wiped out all the time
Well the young couple with the Rav4 were very lucky with their timing on getting stuck. I hope that the guy with the Ford gets that Transmission fluid changed after being over heated that badly. Bye for now Casey's dad! Be careful when your on snow and ice. I had a friend fall 3 years ago and he smacked the back of his head hard when he landed. He had problems from that fall for almost a year. Thanks for taking us along Casey 👍
A good approach after a fall like that is to see a chiropractor because a fall like that can reek havoc on joints and just some gentle persuasion gets things back in order for a swifter heal time.
What the heck are these people thinking when they choose to drive on unplowed roads in the mountains? I guess common sense is not a flower that blooms in everyone's garden. Nonetheless, you and your dad do good work saving fools.
that had to be a busy day for your guys! Awesome the Ford cooperated and could be driven out. That Rav 4 bogged down in the perfect spot to have you offer help. What great recoveries. Always great to see your Dad! See you next time Dad!
Also if you have a rear E locker and think you might need it, engage it before you need it. I’ve been stuck in my own downhill driveway in super heavy snow because I couldn’t get the locker engaged. You need both tires to roll a few feet to engage.
I like how you look out for your dad - says a lot about your character! Excellent Video - as always! It is awesome to see you out in the that kind of snow! Western PA did not get much at all this year, unfortunately.
Casey I like the comment I read about you should do a recovery with you, your dad and grumpy that would definitely be a lot of fun. you would definitely be out numbered though. I think it is a great thing that you and your dad have a close relationship. Family is very important. I hope your dad has a safe trip back home I always enjoy seeing him in your videos.
Dad GI love I love the jeep so much man I wish I had the money if I lived in something like that where you live that I would definitely have a jeep like that. What a spare vehicle should’ve ever snows you never I’m never saying you never get stuck with it, but it would take a lot to get gas dock, so that’s a nice set up you have there in this world, every single dollar love it love it love it love it love it love it love it. I came spleen how much I love it. I’m gonna say all the stars in the world that’s how much I love it. Keep it up man that Jeep is a bedroom ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤one mother Laker.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Bye dad... Glad you didnt have any more spills. Take it easy and relax. Great video once again! Love the camera angles, but bummer you have to walk all the way back to get the camera. Curious if you have ever thought about a mount for the camera on the rack on the jeep?
Pretty much anything post 90s is shif on the fly. I don't know that I've ever seen a shift on the fly out of 4L though because it has to remesh gear ratios. I'm fairly certain that would shift in/out of 4H to 2H Your dad seems like a really cool guy. Glad you have him along. Pretty easy going. Reminds me of my dad before he passed.

That would be a great video with grumpy and Casey's dadtoge
@@zachlangolf2287 True but they should both go on a recovery of him. That was far too short with the tractor vid

Thanks for tagging along dad. If we don't see you again we'll see more of Grumpy. Either way it's a win win!
Bonus recoveries are my favorite. You are just what those people need in that moment!
Casey, You wanted snow so you could get back to work.
You got it !
Hope your dad has no further issues from falling.
Stay Warm
Your dad just endeared himself to me for life. You told him to do whatever to get himself turned around. He responded with “….do a Rockford.” So cool.
Many may not know what that is! LoL
Yeah, I'm old and still say 'Rockford' too.
Plus, if you do a 'J' turn where I live you'll hit the kerb! 😂

A great way to wake up and start my day with Casey and his Pa! You could have had Grumpy jump in the back seat for added fun! 😁
Listen up people, if you are going to venture anywhere, make sure you take the gear you need to get there and back
Bye Mr LaDelle, (Not you Casey!) It has been nice seeing you! 👋

RUclips regularly goes through and scrubs the bot and scam accounts. Unfortunately it takes a lot of the legitimate ones out with them.
