Obviously an intelligent and thoughtful man. Loved Shampoo.

He is not as physically perfect as say Alain Delon yet taller but there is something very attractive about his weak squinty look in the eyes which makes him look vulnerable. I posit the hypothesize that his tall dark handsome features coupled with his awkwardness, protruding ears and weak eyes encourage women to have maternal feelings for him. He also has a feminine full lipped mouth. Thus he combines prototypically male features with feminine attributes; a winning combination.

Don't forget his imposing muscular physique at 6'2" from Bonnie&Clyde (the famous scenes in the "wife beater") pretty much up to Ishtar (the white t-shirt).

@@jayeginn5963 Yes I once read that he ha d alright build i.e. non muscular but as you point out in Bonnie and Clyde he was muscular. He probably trained up for that role.

A unique film .... I enjoyed it in 1975 , and even considered moving to Beverly Hills and attending beauty school . I did not do this . Non the less the political back drop of the film is highly amusing . An entertaining film , reflecting a specific time in history . I have the DVD .

Thank you for posting this interview! Beatty is full of himself, and yes, he probably still thinks that song is about him, but there is no denying his talent. Any interview with Beatty is worth watching...
Edit: Also, love the furniture :)

doubt he is full of himself. seems likable, charming and smart with those boyish good looks. and that song was written about him or mick jagger

@@robertbeatty9563 I agree, and when I said that he is full of himself, I don't mean that in a bad way. By all accounts, Beatty thinks very highly of himself, is very driven and usually these type of people can be very difficult to work with (I'm sure Robert Rossen and Altman would agree). Beatty seems to have a 'healthy ego', is relatively balanced, and is aware of any weaknesses he might have, which is probably a reason for his sparse and selective filmography...

Really???? You want to disparage Beatty with a remark from Rourke?
Regarding Rourke, that's a perfect example of the pot calling the kettle black lol.

not being rude but never really understood the appeal of Warren Beatty esp as a sex symbol, seems quite average to me ?
