In my experience, Caltech was much more challenging! There were a lot of differences between the two experiences. For example, at Caltech everyone collaborates on problem sets, but at Cambridge everything is done individually (this is probably because they are doable on your own too). Because I was studying abroad, I also didn't have to take the final exams for any of my classes, whereas Cambridge students' grades are solely based on the exam at the end of the year. If I were to take the exams it would have been more rigorous. While I enjoyed not needing to worry about grades at Cambridge (everything was on pass/fail for me), I would definitely still say if I were to choose to be a full-time student without study abroad I would definitely still prefer Caltech's coursework/system!
First off, CONGRATS on getting this fortuitous opportunity to both intern at LinkedIn AND study at CAMBRIDGE!!! I can't be more proud of you for how assiduously you have worked to get there AND make these videos possible!! Just curious, is the LinkedIn internship already finished or does it start later? Or is it remote?
Wow so aesthetic!! ❤😍 Glad you had this much fun!
So amazing!! I feel like I'm actually there!
Enjoy your time. Pembroke was my college…appreciate the beauty of the gardens and the green space as well as the buildings.
Thank you! I had a great time in Cambridge. Pembroke was truly so beautiful and I loved living there!
Don’t go into the Candy Stores! Something quite dodgy about them.
Huh!!...sweet shops dodgy!...😂..you must live in a village of the damned!! 😉😅
I guess the million dollar question is: do you find the coursework at caltech more challenging/rigorous than that at Cambridge?
