  • This is a session from The Myositis Association's 2019 Annual Patient Conference in Minneapolis. Having one autoimmune condition is no guarantee that you won't also acquire another. In fact, the opposite is too often the case. If you have symptoms in addition to those related to myositis, you may have overlap syndrome. This presentation will help you figure out what might be going on and what to do about it.

I was diagnosed with Undifferentiated Connective tissue disease. I feel like I’m more mixed Connective tissue. How do they distinguish it? I want to know which of my symptoms that make it so undifferentiated. I feel like all my symptoms fit in The MCTD. I’m not sure 🤔 f it was my symptoms that put me in the category or the tests wasn’t quite enough proof for it. I also have EDS and possibly MG

I think undifferentiated just means the tests don’t 100% show what you got but there’s a chance you could develop something like lupus or even mixed connective tissue
