I'm always late on these things....I was a student the same time Coach Paint was a student/athlete. I could tell how he played, back when he was running point on Big 10 Championship teams, he was going to be an awesome coach. Coach Painter was a great example of being an extention of the coach (Coach K!) on the floor. I love Robbie analyzing games, and not only because we grew up 30 miles away! I still learn about the game when Robbie is on the TV crew, and I feel he is a better ambassador of Purdue Basketball working as an analyst than as a coach. Not that Robbie wouldn't be a succefful coach, given his extensive, impressive, resume. I'm extactic that Purdue Basketball/University is so well represented from these two men, and other individuals like Katie Geralds, Jaden Ivey, Stephanie White, and so many more! Boiler up!!!

Love this interview. Coach Painter is such a quality man. Robbie Hummell too - can't believe he is not associated with Purdue somehow now in terms of coaching or whatnot...

Thatd be awesome if he was one day down the road, but he is very good at calling games now on TV.
