Rex's turn at 1:28:30 was quite brilliant with the Shortcut - Encyclopedia - Pathfinder combo. It's just a shame he only got one damage out of it! He did do enough to allow Zoey to finish him off, though. Great job! (Although he should have taken 1 horror when he left and then re-entered the location since there was an Altered Beast card attached to the brood) 😯
Ah yes, we missed the horror here because of Altered Beast... I was very happy with that move though. This is some of the genius of Arkham Horror. Such a well designed game!
Okay, that last investigator phase was an absolute masterclass on how to chain together timely cardplay, bonuses, and skill icons to pull off an improbable team win. Well done!!!!
We were very proud of ourselves for that one! :-) Once again, the genius of design of Arkham Horror shines through. Without a doubt, one of the best board games ever made. Have you finished your own campaign with your friends?
@AllAboardBoardgames We have! And two of the four of us even made it out alive (I was not one of the one who survived, as Zoey went down swinging like a Guardian should). 😊 We are now two scenarios into The Path to Carcosa with new investigators, and it's great!
@@craigcodlin5249 Oh that's awesome! It's not easy to make it out of this one alive at all so well done on that. Definitely want to get our hands on The Path to Carcosa. I hear it is really good. Have you played it before?
Happy New Year, Pat & Glai! I am absolutely loving the Arkham Horror LCG series. I would love to see more! And I have also enjoyed Pat's reading of the intros. So dramatic and so fun. I have really enjoyed your channel and I am looking forward to what 2024 brings. Hope you both have a wonderful New Year.
Happy New Year Greg! It's great to hear that you are enjoying the Arkham Horror LCG series. It is a really fun game with a great story. Thanks a lot for all of your support. We really appreciate it! Hope you and your family had a great Christmas and we wish you all the best for 2024. Cheers!
At 1:21:00, Flashlight won’t help the attack, it only works when you are investigating. Still loving these videos even though I’m unable to watch them as they arrive.
Oh yes, I guess you mean the Magnifying Glass but you are absolutely correct. I have made a note in the Klingon subtitles. Really glad that you are enjoying the videos. Two more left in the campaign so hope you have fun watching those too! Cheers!
Great video. I hope we ‘ll see more arkham from you both, maybe another campaign 😄 as a side note you forgot several times the attachement altered beast on the first brood which should have provoked several horrors on both of you. Also the static bonus on the lense of +1 intelligence only apply while doing and « investigate » action, as opposed to christopher’s static which imposes no requirement. And also, happy new year, i wish both of you to have your wishes granted for this brand new year 🎉
Hi Sasha! Thank you very much for your comment. Sorry that we missed the Altered Beasts and for the error using the Magnifying Glass. Really glad that you enjoyed the video anyway. A very Happy New Year to you too and we hope you have a wonderful 2024!
@@AllAboardBoardgames no worries it happened all the time, even to veteran players as arkham is a game where there is a lot to keep track of, and that must be hard to follow while filming. Anyway thanks for taking the time to answer to my comment and keep posting great content 😄
@@sashanutella7091 There certainly is a lot going on in Arkham Horror. It really is an excellent game! Thanks a lot to you for taking the time to comment. Cheers!
I think that @1:00:00 you could have used Pathfinder to move which would have given you one extra attack on the Brood. Would have been higher risk, but it was available.
That is true. It might have been worth the risk, but I guess I was more thinking of getting out of there at the end of my turn so used it then instead. Thanks for watching!
35:31 When instructed to reveal another token, you do not put the token you have already drawn back in the bag. (It looked like Glai put the cultist token back?).
53:14 I think when you drew Devil's Hop Yard, the shortest route for the brood was via Dunwich Village, so he should have moved that way. Also, Zoey would have taken a horror when the brood moved into her location.
1:04:30 The Whipporwill should have moved up to 10 Acre Meadow (Hunter), which would have affected your stats for your skill tests there (meaning your coup de grace attack on the brood would have failed). The Aloof just means it doesn't engage after moving. And when the brood with the attachments moved in there, Rex should have taken a horror.
1:15:09 I don't think Glai paid the three resources for Hypnotic Gaze (she had plenty, though... it would have taken her from 7 to 4). The Whipporwill would have hunted to either Zoey or Rex at the start of this--and each subsequent--enemy phase.
Hi Craig. Yes, Glai did put the Cultist token back here. Thanks for letting us know that that was not correct. I've made a note in the Klingon subtitles.

1:52:00 What a great moment using Encyclopedia and Leo to kill the brood!
That one felt really good! Those Broods are very difficult to deal with...

1:57:00 Zoe only used 2 actions this tuen as Beat Cop was a freebie
You are correct again, and thanks again for letting us know. I have made a note about this one in the Klingon subtitles too.
35:31 When instructed to reveal another token, you do not put the token you have already drawn back in the bag. (It looked like Glai put the cultist token back?).

50:46 Rex should take horror
That is correct, because of Altered Beast. Thanks for letting us know. I have made a note in the Klingon subtitles now.
