The anterior cruciate ligament of the knee is essential to this joint as it ensures stability and rotation. Knee ligament reconstruction is performed arthroscopically through small incisions using a camera to visualize the joint. This operation conserves as much of the old ligament as possible to help promote cell colonisation and thus to restore the proper function of the knee, resulting in as little inconvenience as possible, a small scar and faster recovery.

I am officially one year post op from this surgery! (My one year video is on my channel) but I am SO HAPPY I went through this surgery!!!! I tore it two years ago doing flips, and had surgery one year ago. I am now back to doing flips again (which I haven't been able to do since I've torn it) and i am soooooo happy. This is definitely worth doing. It is hard at first, but over time once everything heals, you can continue life as though "nothing" happened. Or at least that's what I'm able to do.

Hi I have got my knee dislocated since I was twelve years, I am now thirty four it still happened allot can u help me out
I'm just trying to see how this goes. A few weeks ago (January 30th) I had a bad fall (slipped on water) and landed on my knee. Tore my MCL, LCL and PCL (but luckily my ACL was ok 🙄) I've never had surgery before but it isn't until April and unfortunately i will be out of work until July!

i had acl reconstruction operation on june26 ,patella graft,now 3 months ,what care movements i do cautions to do
it's a good video. within a week i will get through the same surgery but I got my both acl and pcl torn ,the doctors said they will reconstruct both the ligaments. but, i have a doubt that after surgery again the screws implanted in bones will remove or not by another surgery .

@@theSD7The first time dislocated could just been because I had landed incorrectly and it just gave out. It ended up happening a few times after so we went to the doctor and I had an x-ray of both of my knees and they told me that they were just wonky and I was born with my knees already waiting for something to happen to them. When I had my mri they said that after it happened over and over again (the dislocating) my i think it was my patellar ligament was stretched out so it was going to happen regardless what physical therapy I did so they decided surgery was best. Sorry if i messed up any wording.

sudeep bedi I did surgery on 10th or 11th of September 2016, now i am fine and walking, but main and effective part is after surgery, i.e. physiotherapy exercises. Knee and leg exercises which doctor suggested must be done daily
Akshay Patel, yes bro i am doing it on daily basis, its been almost 6 weeks now and i am on rest. but still have pain and lil swelling in my knee. and bending is only 110 degree till now.
