Ladanye's Self Working ACAAN

- This is my attempt to recreate Jason Ladanye's wonderful ACAAN from his RUclips channel that he dubbed as self working. A few points about this effect.
1.) Jason has not revealed his method and said he was keeping it to himself for now.
2.) This does not use camera editing.
3.) Yes, there is a method, this is not luck. I did not film this 50 times until I got a hit.
4.) I would say that my version can be performed with about a week of practice. It's obviously not self working, I was just going along with Jason's patter.
5.) I'm not releasing my method, because it might be similar to Jason Ladanye's method.
I have a slight feeling that this trick isnt as "self working" as I initially thought
I second this notion
My brain hurts badly!!!! So good, well done mate 👍👍
Note. It doesn't matter if it matches Jason's method. You came up with it yourself. It is irrelevant if you stumble upon it.
He didn’t come up with it himself
👍👍👍 I just noticed that I watched this video several times and never comment it or liked it. It’s so great and looks the same as Jason Ladanye’s one. 👏👏👏. I can’t figure this out, I am so disapointed. You did a really good job Josh.
Well Done 😊 you showed quite a comprehensive set of shuffling nice :) and good presentation However our friend J does that last "cut" not in hand but he cuts on the table. A slight difference.
This is Art you are amazing man❤️
What can I say, that was an outstanding performance of prestidigitation. Well done my friend. 👏👏👏👏👍😊👍I’ve got an idea 💡😉
Shhhh 😉
This is quite good. There is a significant difference between this and the original: shuffling the deck after the "prediction" cards is not optimal because it provides an opportunity to position the prediction card.
Optimally, all the shuffling is BEFORE the prediction cards are pulled from the deck. How?
IDK :)
Pick 2 cards (marked) and pick them so that they will point to a certain place in deck. That must be it!
Yes it is a method 💯🎯
Definitely a fooler. Great job Josh.
Super ! Je ne connaissais pas celui ! Bien fait.
fantastic effect Josh well done.
Thanks Robert! Your comment means a lot! Jason is a boss with a deck of cards, so this will have to do for me and my level 🤣.
@@joshwilliams3522 yes Jason is amazing. Love his material, can't do all he does, but a joy to watch.
Brilliant!
That is fantastic. Ladanye is one of my favorite magicians. You did it justice and you did it well. My problem is figuring it out, I am a newbie. Thank you for sharing.

Quite clean. Great effect -> now I need to go rewatch Jason's to see if I pick up on anything.
Thanks for watching Brian!
So Good 🎯
I saw that trick in Jason channel I tried all my best but it still fools me so bad. Nice one
I need to learn this....where can I?
I know there's a set up for this trick but can't figure it out at the moment. Can you perform it as a close up and anybody picks the two cards?
excellent tour,j'ai trouver la méthode qui est assez simple en definitive
Are you going to do a tutorial?
I wait for this tutorial !
MIke McBerman
Mind=blown😐.. its frustrating watching and can't figure it out😂😂.. good job!!
Brilliant effect! I would cut down on all the shuffles but other than that, Josh, it’s a keeper😊👏👏👏
Is this is in Jason’s books?
Thanks for subscribing to my channel John. That really surprised me. Jason did a version of this trick on his channel. He said he was going to hold onto his method for awhile. I did my best to recreate the effect I saw him perform.
@@joshwilliams3522 pm me on fb messenger please mate😊🍺
@@jshazammm Messaged you at John Carey, Magician, Teacher, Author.
@@joshwilliams3522 pleaaaase reveal its really annoying me😂
Werent you on Letterman years ago w a baby bird act I recognize the name
What's your favorite impromptu card trick?
Bro please also make tutorial video
I’ve watched Jason and u and still for the life of me can’t work it out
Where can I buy this?
Where do you learn this trick?
Tutorial?
Has Jason published this? If not, where can I learn it?
Is there any way to learn this, like if you don't want to give away the method it's fine but how did you pick it up lmao
Where can this be learned
nice
Well... I couldn't find false shuffle in Jason Ladanye's video....
If you found one here, that's a real miracle.
WHere did you learn this?
Boss tha'.
Got sent here by some bloke called Trinity
Great trick! It's not self working though lol I believe I know the method. Very clever 👍🎩
What’s the method?
In one of the many shuffles I saw the 6 of spades
Can the spectator pick the cards?
non malheureusement
2 pencil dots and a breather crimp. Simple.
Can you explain more?
You still need to position the breather at the right number inconspicuously. And that isnt easy. I think there is something else going on here. But i agree the two initial cards are marked...
Is it work with a borrowed card?
No, there is some prep. 30 seconds and it's ready to go for the life of the deck.
@@joshwilliams3522 Answer as mysterious as the trick ! 😄
Set up deck or slight of hand
3 cards are prepared in advance. Takes about 15 seconds.
@@joshwilliams3522 how?
I think you have to sign card for the prediction and for the control
@@joshwilliams3522 before game?
@@rickcleveland310 You put two cards in a set position before you "randomly" pick a card from the top and bottom of the deck. You then have the target card ready to go and track it through your wash, stack it with the riffle shuffles, and then false shuffle and false cut. That's what I assume the method is.
Watched it a few times and all that I can see is that the last cut was fake and in the last shuffle he removed a few pieces of cards to match the position of the total... Total fooler 😵
And Isn't there a peak at 2:30 ?
Trinity sent me. You need a mike!
I am totally fooled.
bruh u didnt even cut the deck at the end tf was that
It's simple if you think about it LOL
Can you share it with me
I don't understand why you did a obvious fake cut at the end? Could ruin the trick
It's only "self-working" in that you "randomly" selected the two predetermined indicator cards YOURSELF. Then kept track of one card only throughout an impressive array of various shuffles. Always the 6S remained on top. Most card workers would have no difficulty with this. Finally, your 2nd dealing skill is almost faultless. Only given away by the different way in which you removed the 19th (top) card from the deck.
Not too shabby though.
There is no way that is a second deal.
He's not second dealing, as shown by the white border Bicycle deck. If he were using Bee cards, then second dealing can be hard to spot. 🙂
@@FlatEarthMath I assume he´s stacking it with riffles and then fake regular shuffling?
@@Arcessitor I have no clue. That guy is so "next level" it's insane. I've never seen the stuff he does, so my only solution is that he films each video 52 times, LOL. 😛
Sure it’s an easy self working truck. Stop Jason your a wizard. Not doable for the rest of us mortals.
